The chicken piccata here is some of the best of I’ve ever had. The chicken was incredibly juicy and tasty. And don’t get me started on the perfectly baked bread. The brownie was also amazingly good. I already love brownies but the way this was made with a crunchy top and moist center was beyond perfect.

Great place right down the road from Live a Little Chatt, close to Cloudland Canyon State Park. Interesting dishes like the lamb and duck. Mixed drinks are good. The White Winter Hymnal had nice forward citrus but there was a smokey finish that was not a favorite. The Woodsman is a play on an Old Fashioned with more spice (like an entire cinnamon stick). This may have been better as a dessert or nightcap. Service was fine, not excellent, but for where we were, ok. Garlic mashed potatoes were amazing. Fried okra was ok but needed salt. Roasted broccoli, feta, beans, and bacon was actually one of the best parts of the rack of lamb dish. Brought our own wine for a $15 corking fee (we had a brunello). Overall a good place to eat, moderately priced for that kind of place. Lots of variety on the menu.

Wow wow! Our first time visiting with two toddlers which they were so accommodating! Get the fried Mushrooms! The house salad is soo good with balsamic and end with the coconut cake. Absolutely fantastic all around. As a former chef, this was top notch food, service and atmosphere-the vibe is just perfect. We will be back!

Food was excellent. Service was spot on. They sat us in the left dinning room, but it was loud. They gladly moved us to the right dinning room and we enjoyed our visit. We thought there would be a view because of the address:).

We went here as there are not many options in the area. From the outside, it looks like you could grab a burger or similar, nothing fancy. But when you walk in, it is definitely more upscale than that (but not too fancy by any means), and you won’t find a normal priced kids menu here.
The food is way over priced since your entree is literally a piece of meat by itself. No sides included. So a chicken breast by itself is $19.99 plus $9+ for each additional side. (Yes, about 3 broccoli florets cost $9. Sweet potato? $9) The prices on other meat items quickly rise from there. We walked out of there with a hefty bill for 4 with no alcoholic beverages bought and 3 of the 4 had water. If you’re thinking you might save $ by not eating at Cloudland Reaort and going here instead, you’ll be mistaken for sure!
The atmosphere was nice (dark, moody lighting so it’s hard to see). I must say that $19.99+ chicken breast was the most moist piece of chicken I’ve ever had and had wonderful flavors! They definitely know how to prepare it!

My family got together for a Thanksgiving trip, and we wanted to eat something, other than leftovers, for our last night in town. This experience was better than expected. We are a loud-laughing group and our server, Morgan, was so patient and lovely. She really made the experience memorable for us. The food was exceptional and yes, it’s across the street from a Dollar General, but you wouldn’t know that once inside. The catfish was an entire experience and they treated my brother to a birthday dessert. I cannot recommend enough!

This place is a gem! After experiencing a couple mediocre nights at the restaurants up at the McLemore, my crew decided to go off property about 10 minutes away and we were not disappointed. Very relaxed atmosphere, with a solid menu that was well executed. Our server was attentive and friendly , and the kitchen was spot on. We started off with the Rajas and Fried Mushrooms, both delivered. The hickory grilled pork tenderloin is a must order, along with the coconut cake for dessert!! This place was packed so definitely make a reservation, you won’t be disappointed!

Second time at Canyon Grill — still a great experience!
This is my second time dining at Canyon Grill, and it was another great visit. The customer service is consistently friendly, and the food is just as impressive. I had the salmon — cooked good — and got to try a bit of the fried mushrooms, which were delicious. The salad was fresh and tasty too. Overall, a very satisfying experience.
I’m giving it a 4/5 for now, only because I want to try more from their menu before giving a full 5 stars. Looking forward to coming back again soon

Canyon Grill is an absolute gem! We started with the fried mushroom appetizer — perfectly done with a light, crispy breading that had a great crunch without being soggy. The horseradish dipping sauce was the perfect compliment.
For dinner, I had the grilled Gulf shrimp — jumbo, butterflied, and seasoned just right. The garlic mashed potatoes on the side were hot, creamy, and delicious. My wife ordered the almond roasted chicken with honey and she loved it.
We couldn’t resist dessert and finished with the coconut cake and French press coffee — both outstanding and the perfect way to end the meal.
The service was stellar, the food was top-notch, and the ambiance was warm and inviting. This is truly a hidden gem that feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere, but really, it’s in the perfect spot. Absolutely worth the drive. Highly recommend!

Had the Johnny Three Fingers old fashioned, the 16oz Ribeye and the Strawberry Blue cheese salad. Steak was perfect medium just as I ordered.
