The cutest coffee shop on the mountain! I wish we had a chance to go here more during our trip. I love how the shop features local art and makers. The service was great! The barista was friendly, knowledgeable and kind! My husband and I had a cookie butter latte, and it was so good. Stayed cold and no weird aftertaste. We had a chorizo burrito and sausage burrito. Both were amazing and best breakfast items we had all week. I loved this cozy little shop and hope we can come back and visit again someday.

A perfect little coffee shop with great coffee and delicious baked goods. The cinnamon rolls are some of the best we’ve ever had and the breakfast burritos are tasty. It is cute and comfortable inside with local art and goodies that are fun to peruse and the staff members are all very friendly. We will visit every chance we get!

Burritos are fantastic. Guys working there were great will go back. I had just house coffee and it tasted good.

We’ve visited almost every coffee shop in the Denver metro area and this is our favorite! Amazing drinks, outstanding food and pastries, kind friendly people, and beautiful mountains! The owner Amber is so friendly and tries to make sure there is something for everyone, including multiple vegan and gluten free options. Local artists and gifts to see. Dog friendly.

Loved this Bakery! The cinnamon rolls are amazing (I had the strawberry rhubarb roll and it was excellent!) and there’s a variety of sweet and savory pastries along with breakfast burritos and sandwiches and coffee/tea. Fun little stickers too. Dog friendly patio outside with lots of chairs! Free parking out front.

Excellent stop for coffee and pastries. The cinnamon rolls are a MUST. One of the best I’ve ever had if not the best. They are made in house and are sourdough cinnamon rolls. Can’t get enough of them!

Canyon coffee shop is the place to stop at when driving up or down coal creek canyon! Super nice staff. Amber, the owner, was there making the dough for the pastries. The pastries were well stocked! The prices were excellent for how delicious the food was. Coffee was high quality. I will definitely be stopping here more consistently on my drives to Eldora from the Denver metro!

We just stopped in hoping they had something to eat and was so impressed! Pleasantly surprised they even had vegetarian options. So tasty and delicious. We got veggie burritos, a cinnamon roll, and rice crispies. Soooo good. Will stop back by for tea and coffee.

The location is very small and unassuming. Easy to miss but really an awesome gem for locals living in Coal Creek Canyon. They are a very small operation and locally run so things move a little slower here but you can tell it is done with a lot of love and care.
If I had only visited once this would have been a five star review but we went twice and the second time was a hugely different and mostly negative experience. The first trip was incredible and we LOVED everything. The second time a different barista was there and she really did a poor job that made it very hard to want to return.
The first time a very pleasant young man served us and was prompt, attentive and made an excellent drink! We got the special s’mores latte iced with a homemade sourdough cinnamon roll. The latte was amazing! So flavorful and well made. We left extremely happy!
We went back a few days later and had a totally different experience. We waited well over a half hour (I even had time to go get gas and come back) before we even ordered. The barista was extremely timid and we could barely hear her as she spoke with us. She wouldn’t even make eye contact even though we were very kind and told her we understood the wait since they were small. We got breakfast burritos and the same s’mores latte. The latte was downright awful sadly, a total 180 from the other day. It tasted burnt, had no flavor, and the cup was only filled half up. We asked why and we’re told there was room for cream which I have never heard of in a latte before. It was even more expensive than the previous day too despite ordering the same thing. The breakfast burrito also was not good. Very soggy, no flavor, and the barista avoided us as we attempted to get some salsa to add some much needed flavor.
Overall, very inconsistent. If I had only come the first time it would have been a five but if I had only come the second time it would have been a two star review. Hopefully in the future they can work out some inconsistency issues.

Neat spot near our cabin with good food and coffee. Lots of different choices for sweet and savory.
