Hidden Gem for Cantonese BBQ Lovers!
Visited Cantonese BBQ with a friend who highly recommended it — he even said it’s better than the most renowned Chinese BBQ pork place in Richmond!
Of course, I had to try it for myself.
I ordered the Fatty BBQ Pork on Rice (肥叉燒肉飯) and the Roast Goose and Crispy Pork on Rice (燒鵝燒肉飯). The meats were juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Personally, I feel that both this place and the famous one are excellent, but Cantonese BBQ’s meats are less dry, which I really enjoyed.
Another highlight was their daily soup — comforting, rich, and heartwarming.
Service was friendly and helpful, making the experience even better.
Definitely a spot I would come back to whenever I’m craving good Cantonese roast meats!

Their meats are to die for. Very tender, juicy and full of flavour. The rest of the dishes were okay. Definitely did not enjoy that kinda squid. Good OG spot for BBQ meats and cheap multi dish dinner sets.

From hanging bbq meats to classic Cantonese dishes with set meals for the number of guests, they have it all. The bbq chicken, roast pork, duck, and bbq pork were all good. The fried fish with corn and honey garlic spareribs were standard average. The lemon chicken could be better as there was no crispy outside crust and other places serve it with thicker chunks of breaded chicken while here it was cut into thin strips. The egg tofu, green beans, and buddha’s delight were just mediocre. Service is basic but the prices are fair and the portions are generous. A good place for a value Chinese group meal.

Been here twice and this time everyone (6-8 ppl) had to wait in the takeaway queue for 30–45 minutes. In the end, they told me they only had the chicken left. What a waste of time and such poor service. The food was tasty but when it’s too busy, they just keep people wait. They should hire more staff. The lady at the cashier had to bring food to tables, answer phone and online orders, handle takeaway orders, pack the food and collect payment all at the same time lol

This is good restaurant of eating BBQ Meats, roasted chicken, roasted pork, and roasted duck are the famous dishes to order in this restaurant. They tastes delicious and wants more!
The choy sum is very yummy with stir-fry garlic, cannot stop eating because it is so delicious!
The tofu bowl tastes very nice as well, not too salty. It is in big portion to fill our stomach!
The spinach with the thousand eggs is very yummy as well, perfect tasting
Basically every dishes we ordered tonight were delicious, and will go for another time
