This is place is one of the better Chinese spots I have been to in the Bridgewater Somerville area. Most of the spots are super Americanized and white washed, serving low quality food dumped in oil. Usually there vegetarian options are terrible since they cater more to non-veg customers.
I still wanted to try here after reading positive reviews online. I ordered spring rolls and vegetable lo mein. I wanted the ma po tofu but it would be too spicy for me. While waiting for my food I was talking to this other kind person and he said it’s one of the best places he and his family has been to. I also knew this place would be good when Asian families and couples came in to eat here.
Lo Mein – 8/10 pretty good LinkedIn comparable to china moon in Raritan. There were a lot of vegetables which is a plus and it was super hot. It was not too oily too and portion was large. 16.75$
Spring Roll – 9/10 this was interesting since there was mushroom in here never seen that before but still tasted good. 2 spring rolls for 6$ good size
I would recommend going here and would be back. They are costlier than other options in the area but at least the food is worth eating so it makes sense. Atmosphere is pretty cool too. Staff is chill

We have experienced both full dining and dimsum weekend. Food quality (ingredients) are excellent and they were seasoned well, not overly salty and sweet. Authentic Cantonese cuisine at its best. What is the name of the pork bun in my first photo, anybody?

This place truly reminds d of the wonderful memories of the old Chinatown basement restaurants you find in Chinatown, NYC. It’s very Cantonese. In otherwords, the flavors are more delicate and the sauces do not take over the entree but rather enhances the taste of the protein or vegetables. This is how Cantonese food is meant to be prepared. You should only say, “wow, the sauce was awesome. Was that meat chicken, pork or beef?” If you can’t tell, the dish was overwhelming the platter.
The true star of the restaurant here is the food.
The waiters and waitresses are polite and helpful as they walk around offering you what their tray holds. If you want to be a Diva or Divo, please know the staff will not be fawning over you.
We had many of the dim sum dishes that were exceptionally popular. The steamed shrimp dumplings, the long beef noodles’ translucent skin was prepared so that the skin would not rip apart as you are handling them. The portions were generous as well as the filling for the steamed pork buns and the bean curd skins filled to the maximum capacity with pork. Needless to say, it left quite an impression as my husband and I walked away vowing we will be back for dinner.

Anthony the owner is wonderful and all of the waiters are very nice and helpful. The food is excellent. We come back over and over again
Update we came for Christmas Day as we always do. Came a little later this year than we usually do so it was a little busy but as always Anthony was wonderful and the food is excellent

Great food! Amazing. For people who have not experienced dim sum it may be overwhelming. It will be good to have someone in your group who can speak Cantonese and also navigate ordering. Maybe a list of items available can be helpful but I know the menu is dynamic based on what is available.

This place is pretty good! We came on a Saturday evening, so the place was pretty crowded. The restaurant has lots of tables, and the service was friendly. The food was okay. But, even though there is a ton of tables, you still have to wait for a table. Also, the service was pretty slow. Overall a pretty good place.

Our favorite and the best Chinese food in Jersey! We have been here for dim sum, just our family and also for large parties, and the food is always incredible!! We are lucky that we are only 30 minutes away and never need to go into NYC when we are craving authentic and amazing Chinese food, or just want a delicious meal!

Had a very satisfying meal here! Our first time too and im happy we were able to have a good dining experience! (fyi: also got lucky with street parking. Just one of those good days).
we came in on a saturday at 11:30AM and we got seated right away even though it was already getting full inside. There was a good amount of dimsum carts walking by so it didnt take too long to get orders in. We loved the soup dumplings, siu mai and shrimp hakaw. o tried something new as well which was a shrimp and chive(or leek?) dumpling and enjoyed that too! honestly everything we got that day was delicious and I appreciate that service was friendly.

The food is top notch. Everything that we tried was fabulous. Dimsums, chicken fried rice, egg drop soup , scallion pancakes and orange chicken. I hate orange chicken because it is so overly sweet but this one was very good.
Only problem that they have is the ambience. It can serve well as a takeout place but the setup and decor was somewhat not very welcoming
