Staff handing out orders for pickup are incompetent. Spent over $100 on food for them to let it sit on the counter when I give them the order name. The girl goes to the back never returned. I have to ask over again to get my own order I paid for. Insane. Order was 7:10pm placed at 6:30pm. didn’t get food until 7:40.pm almost 8pm. Crazy I live 5 mins away smh

One word…. ROACH
Not only did the rice look disappointing and have minimal flavor but several bites in, I found a roach in my rice. This is the most disgusting thing I have ever come across when eating take out from anywhere! I called Canton at Dadeland (which I just found out isn’t even Canton anymore but Sushi Maki serving food from the Canton menu) and the young lady I spoke with was very nice, helpful and apologetic, however something in the way she seemed very unstartled by my complaint of finding a ROACH in my food tells me this is not the first time someone has complained about this. I am beyond disgusted and can pretty much guarantee I will not be eating at this or any other chinese restaurant for a long, long time if ever again.

My mistake by not taking a photo of the big cockroach that was served in my plate guys I wanted to throw up and I just walk away fats thanks God I was just staring to eat please check your food before eating

They have “Canton” items on the menu, but this is NOT the “Canton” we all remember. As long as you understand this is actually a sushi/Thai/Bento box place, you won’t be disappointed. Order accordingly, and you’ll have a much more pleasant experience.

Canton used to be fantastic, even after it became a co-location with Sushi Maki. Now it serves below average chinese food. Special fried rice with hunks of chicken and a very few shrimp (no pork, ham etc). Sweet and sour chicken that’s tough and inedible. Overpriced to boot.

Apparently this place is own by the original owners. However neither the food nor the service comes close to the previeous format. The place looks nice with the renovations but evrything else is pale in comparison. I missed Betty and her kind and first class service. The place now caters to a younger clientele, very noisy. No one greets you, must ask for menu, musk ask for tea, must ask for table cleaning, lunch specials not available, no sugar nor sauce on the tables. Water served from a cheap glass bottle, and they didn’t ask if we wanted any other drinks or sodas. Dish was plentiful but the Lo Mein was thicker and standard box pasta, dissapointing
