Had a great experience! Don’t be fooled by the outside. The inside is very clean and well decorated. The waitress and the food were both amazing! Food had very clean taste – not too oily, not overly salty or sweet.
The takeout boxes were unique – at first, I thought that they were giving us Ziploc containers

Fyi, we got beef shanks (cumin & chive flavor sauce), tso chicken, and salt & pepper shrimp. Also got the egg drop soup and hot and sour soup on the side. My fav was the chicken!

Recommending to try out!

I’m Cantonese and this is now the best dim sum place in Atlanta. My biggest gripe with dim sum in Atlanta is that the food always comes out at room temperature. At Canton Kitchen, the food comes out fast, HOT, and delicious. Everything I tried was fresh and bursting with flavor. I really hope they expand the dim sum menu in the future because I need more dim sum at this quality. I’ll definitely be back.

We just tried this brand new Cantonese restaurant that opened about two weeks ago, and honestly — we finally found our go-to Chinese spot in Atlanta. Everything we ordered was delicious. We started with scallion pancakes, shrimp shumai, and egg rolls (all excellent), and moved on to several entrées that were fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The only dish that fell a little short for us was the wonton soup — the broth could have used a bit more flavor — but everything else more than made up for it.

After living in Atlanta for 3–4 years without having a reliable Chinese restaurant, this place completely filled that gap for us. The food tasted authentic, portions were generous, and every dish came out hot and satisfying. We’ll absolutely be coming back regularly. If you’ve been thinking about trying it, take this as your sign — go eat here. 100% worth it.

SO. I HAVE BEEN WAAAIIIIITING. Yes caps locks waiting for this place to open. I had been looking for an amazing chinese place to go to that not all the way in doraville or Duluth.

So we order wayyyyy more food than we needed. But all of it was worth!!! We got dimsum and chicken curry, sesame balls, there west lake soup. I am already looking at the menu planing my next visit. Also… They are on DOOR DASH!!! So I am looking at your Emory doctors!!! You know ow this should be your next order!

Do not pass up this gem! Your taste buds will appreciate you stopping!

Amazing service, friendly staff. Nice atmosphere – open seating and private rooms. The servings are well sized with pricing reasonable. Very fresh hot food. The food’s taste is 90%, very close to the best, but every dish was missing just a little something for perfection. Not as good as some Buford highway places, but a very good choice to stay in Decatur and be nearby dessert shops and shopping.

We asked if they had hot tea, they brought a teapot with jasmine tea to share. We ordered some dimsum – sesame balls, spare ribs with black bean, chicken feet, durian cake, and also pan fried pork dumplings, pork mini soup dumplings. They bring out the plates as soon as they are done being made, so they’re very fresh and hot! They mistakenly gave us a cashew nuts cake, but said it would be free once we noted the mistake to them.

The sesame balls are the largest I’ve ever had and was the highlight for me. I wish it had a little more red bean paste and less rice cake.

The pan fried pork buns were also very large and hot. I also wish there was more filling.

The spare rib with black bean did not look like the photo at all and very little black bean, but the soup sauce with it was the best.

The durian cake could also benefit from more filling.

The pork mini soup dumplings were good, but I thought the sauce could have been better suited to it.

They have open seating but also private rooms. I would come here for a work gathering.

The bathrooms are a bit out of sorts and not as clean as the rest. The sink was clogged and filled.

I just left and picked up dinner to go. Smelt so good I’m eating it now. I have never tasted food so fresh. The gentleman who took my order was so nice and welcoming. You never see that at these type restaurants. Very patient as I looked through the menu. I’m coming back weekly.

Food was awesome! Even better than most Chinese restaurants I’ve had in NYC, fresh, authentic and delicious. Would go visit again when I get the chance. You won’t be disappointed!

I had dinner last evening at Canton Kitchen and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The food was fresh and unlike the gooey, overly sweet Asian fare in our hyperlocal area. The atmosphere was peaceful and the decor beautiful. I will certainly return and I expect to do so often!

We enjoyed a great meal with the best and friendliest service ever. The place had only been open for a day so they were coming up to speed, but doing great- 5/5!
