Stopped in just because it was Canton Cafe. Egg flower soup and egg foo yung had to be spiced up a bit, but the spare ribs were terrific! More than enough food. Atmosphere was good and service great. Very enjoyable meal. Will do it again.

Been coming here since I was a baby. Carried on the tradition with my son and we love our regular server! She always remembers my son likes his rice with no veggies and apple juice. We love our comfort food close to home!

I ordered the mandarin chicken/pork fried rice lunch combo for take out. The rice was flavorful which was a nice surprise. I appreciated the chicken was served with the sauce on the side. The flavor of the chicken was good, but the breading was soggy and falling off. This was a take out order, so I’m not sure how the service would have been, but my experience with the person who took my order and payment was pleasant.

Won’t go again. 1st time there for take out. The fried rice was fried a little too long and was crunchy, I asked for pork fried—-no meat in rice!
The Chow Mein had literally next to no noodles, was mostly cellery slices. So disappointed.
The Wonton Soup had a strange after taste and a lot of oil in the broth.
I oredered large on the rice & chow mein, got home and find out I had one large container & one small but was charged for large—rip off. No fortune cookies & no napkin.
Never again!

The chow mein was NOT your ordinary chow mean in fact it was horrible. We also ordered shrimp and peas and the shrimp was way over cooked and very fishy. The sweet and sour pork was good and so was the pork fried rice. The gentlemen that took my order talk to me very rudely i almost hung up and went somewhere else but realized there was no other Chinese food that was good here in Caldwell. We will not be going back! Waste of $76.00

The chow mein was the worst I have ever seen in my life. We ordered to go and when we got home the was no utensils or napkins not even any chop sticks and 3 meals we ordered and not 1 fortune cookie… They should be ashamed to call themselves a Chinese restaurant….

Ordered take out for my family. Was quoted a price before arriving to pick up my order. I was very disappointed to find out it was almost $10 more than what I was told on the phone. The food was edible but not amazing. The beef and broccoli was a surprisingly small serving in a large container. I will not be ordering from here again. Mediocre food and very expensive. I would rather go to Panda Express.

I was so disappointed in the Canton today. The food is always good.
And the service is usually pretty good.
But today the server was a complete jerk. He was rude and obnoxious.
And he thought I couldn’t hear him talk about me to the other servers.
He never came back to our table to check on our food.
.He thought we wouldn’t tip. He was right I didn’t. First time in my life I didn’t tip someone.
I always overtop.
I hope you all don’t get the kind of service we got today.

My husband and I dropped in on our way through Caldwell last weekend. The young man whe greeted and then served us was amazing. Husband had the #5. Sweet n sour pork was crispy and tender, however they didn’t put any s-n-s source on it, only a small dish on the side, fried rice was delicious, BBQ pork was good. I’ll get back to the egg roll in a minute. I ordered the #1. Sweet n sour chicken was also crispy and tender but again had to request more sauce, fried rice- delicious. I asked to sub an egg roll for the crab rangoon. I should have stuck with the crab. My husband thought the eggs roll tasted fishy, I didn’t notice until it was almost gone. That’s when I saw the teeny-tiny shrimp. So that explained the fishy taste, right? Next day he had cramps. Monday I left work early and missed work Tues and Wed as well.

We stopped in tonight while waiting for the night the light parade to start and man was it a great idea! We had some tasty food the literal BEST eggrolls and fried rice that is drool worthy. The chicken was phenomenal as well but can’t lie the rice and egg rolls were the star of the show!

We did their lunch specials and they were great to feed 2 of us and we even have some left overs!

It was a warm treat on a cold night and we will absolutely be adding it to our routine for the next parade but also as our go to Chinese restaurant
