wow, the food was amazing. Everything was so tender and packed with flavor. The drinks were just as good. I had a strawberry margarita with Espolón tequila, and my husband tried the strawberry jalapeño mocktail. He ordered the fajitas and I ordered the ribs and they were phenomenal. Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to.

I have been coming here for a few months now and every time i come in, they do an incredible job. Recently Will has been my server and has been absolutely amazing. He is extremely knowledgeable about the menu, and makes the guests feel welcome. He is very attentive and is a great mixologist. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is friendly. There is also a decent amount of staff that is bilingual, and provide wonderful experiences to so many more people. Would absolutely recommend this restaurant to friends and family for the amazing food and hospitality.

Solid al pastor and baja fish tacos for the price. At the recommendation of our server I tried them with hard shell instead of softshell for something different (enjoyed the crunch). Definitely will try again if we are in the area for an event.

I want to highlight an issue with one of your support staff—a bald gentleman who was bussing tables/running food. While our primary waiter was fine, this staff member was noticeably unprofessional. He repeatedly ignored me and directed an inappropriate amount of personal attention toward my wife, even speaking to her in Spanish while excluding me from the interaction entirely. It felt disrespectful and made our dinner feel like a scene rather than a private meal

With what seemed like an endless tequila selection, this place brought back memories of Rel Del Mar, Mexico in all the right ways. Food was delicious and atmosphere was welcoming. Will return again.

The ambiance was nice on the outdoor patio. We had the carnitas tacos, they were good. The chicken and chorizo empanadas (a bit spicy), the guac was good but the serving was very small for two. The Esquitas were not the best.

My main issue was how disorganized and chaotic it is here. I was originally going to make a reservation for the specific reason of hating putting my name down and waiting, but I originally didn’t see that option on their site. HOWEVER, their process for walk-ins reminds of college bars. You put your name down, they write it on a slip of receipt paper… But there’s more than 1 piece of receipt paper floating about. They don’t text you, just walk around yelling names and being confused with each other about who called who. Several tables stood empty, some because they just haven’t cleaned it off in 10 minutes. You have to stand in a long que to get in. Though not their fault, the majority of the clientele stands in front of either bars after they’ve ordered and have gotten their food and drinks, and don’t move because I guess no one else wants to order in their minds.
The food was okay, we generally order a whole bunch for the table tapas style. I have a serious problem when a Mexican place charges for chips & salsa, generally if I see that I know it’s a high chance I’ll be disappointed by the food. I must have skipped over that the chicken empanadas had corn in them, wasn’t a fan. The carne asada in the chimichangas was good, but it was less a chimichanga, more a burrito. The Mexican style tacos were good, however I was disappointed by flour tortillas. The tamarindo wings were okay. Was a fair bit disappointed with how small the margarita pitchers were, flavors were good and more tart than sweet. Possibly the issue was the day it was, but I’m not sure I’d give it another go on a chiller night.

Great hole in the wall Mexican spot in Northern Liberties. It had a cool vibe and nice wait staff.
Got complimentary chips and salsa to start, then ordered the vegan empanadas which were excellent. Everyone in my group enjoyed their food and drinks; the quesabirria tacos I got were excellent. Fresh ingredients with a ton of flavor.
Would definitely return.

My wife and I love this place. Great vegan Mexican food. Open to substituting ingredients. Reasonable prices for the city. Their cocktail list could use expanding, but their marg list is great. It has become a regular haunt for us and we like that it isn’t super popular yet because you can always get a seat.
