We stopped in expecting a quick drink and snack. We decided to order the lobster mac, which was genuinely delicious. The chips and salsa were good, but our cheesy rice and beans stole the show! That rice packed some flavor, we couldn’t shut up about how yummy everything was!
Our margaritas were absolutely perfect, boozy, sweet, service with a smile, cannot say enough great things about how our visit went.
4 immaculate drinks, lobster mac, rice and beans, for $100 total plus tip. Worth every penny, as we had a great time. Located amongst the walkable downtown!

I’ll be honest I was halfway skeptical at first but man I was in for a treat. I got the grilled chicken chimichanga and it was one of the best Ive had. The chicken was flame kissed and tasted great, wasn’t your typical shredded dried out stringy chicken. The rice was also good and flavorful. Overall Id be back anytime im in town.

They always have the cowboy game on. Donna is friendly and welcoming. The bartender was super slow, and forgetful even when it wasn’t busy.

Food was so overpriced and very underwhelming.
The margaritas were just okay.
The Chorizo Queso tasted like it was just ground beef.
And the Grilled chicken burrito was just that, grilled chicken nothing else. Plus it was super small, should have been two of those for the price.
The service was extremely slow. They even said that another server took our burrito so we had to wait even longer. Took our an hour to get queso and a chicken burrito. Never once asked if we wanted another drink or anything else. Took extra long to get the check.
I wouldn’t recommend it.

Having visited several times, one thing is clear about the Cantina 2.0: it is overwhelmingly mediocre.
I love supporting local business, and I’ll visit the Cantina from time to time, but foodie beware. The food lacks originality and spice. The menu appears to cater to the taste of late stage adults from the midwest and their bland idea of cultural food.
The staff are always friendly, but by no means would i consider them attentive, at least to the table I am at.
Overall, it’s a meal. The prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is fine, and a little more appealing if you are in a bar booth or in the restaurant’s back room.

This place is the whitest Mexican I’ve ever had. Almost 20$ for a flavorless, small ground beef burrito. Bland rice. I think the best part of the meal was the chips and dip, which weren’t that great. Unfortunately this is one of the very few places to eat in town. I’ll just go to the grocery store and eat pb&j vs eating here if I’m ever back.

The food was good, but not special, and the service okay. We had a group of 7 and they wouldn’t split the bill. It was an okay experience.

The shrimp tacos were super mid, the person who said they were the best of their life needs to get out more. The menu says “large grilled shrimp”, but they were cut up into pieces, and there was basically no sauce other than pico. Chips and salsa was okay.
The place is a pretty dingy dive restaurant. Waitress was nice.

For a small town, the food is fair. The customer service was prompt.
