This place is as authentic as it gets! Don’t pass through without stopping to try their selection of absolutely delicious tacos.
I always judge a Mexican restaurant by their menudo soup, and Caney City Tacos does not disappoint. The menudo was spot-on – rich, flavorful, and made the traditional way. But honestly, everything we tried was fantastic.
The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable – you definitely get your money’s worth here. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better.
My kids absolutely loved the food too, which is always the real test! The tacos were fresh, authentic, and packed with flavor.
We’ll definitely be stopping here again whenever we visit this town. If you’re looking for genuine Mexican food, this is your spot. Highly recommended!

First time here. Used the drive thru. You drive up to the window to order. A friendly young lady took my order. Got their barbacoa breakfast burrito. It was dang hot! It was good but needed salt badly. The potatoes were pale and soft like “comedian” Patton Oswalt. The green salsa was decent.

Caney City Tacos was absolutely amazing. We had the breakfast burrito with bacon and sausage, with a side of pancakes and we couldn’t have been happier. Most definitely will be back quite often. This is exactly what Caney City needed!

Had the chance to hit the drive thru and had very good experience. Tacos good flavor and quasadilla was excellent. We will be back for sure.
