Great food, fast service.
There POS system is very dated, I would prefer a bill that I can read. You don’t really know item for item until its keyed into the register. I like and itemized bill before I pay just to verify it’s correct.
I trust me, but I must verify incase something is left the bill so that the serve doesn’t have to pay for things I received.

The salsa bar ~ something underrated and rare to find.
This family-owned restaurant is extremely casual and borderline dive-bar vibe. To clarify, a three-star review isn’t a bad rating. It’s a mediocre rating.
Things you should know:
I. PARKING
Easy and convenient. There’s an obvious private parking lot out front.
II. SERVICE
Yes, the salsa bar is complimentary. We had to figure that out on our own, so let me spare you from wondering if it’s your first time. We couldn’t figure out if you pay your check at the table or go up to the register? The waitress didn’t seem to find an urgency to come back and pick up our card, so we just went up to the register. That method works too if you’re wondering about that also..
III. QUALITY
We ordered Chipotle Fajitas and a Super Fajita Quesadilla. The portions were great ~ no complaints with QUANTITY. This is my personal preference, but I was disappointed in the cheese on the quesadilla. It was pure liquid (very melted queso?). It had no retention like other cheeses do and made the quesadilla very soggy & greasy and impossible to pick up. Some people like queso, and cool, this is for you… But I like my cheese to have some solidity so I can pick up my quesadilla like pizza.

Busy for a Sunday night. Business is great.

On my way to Asheville, I got of the higway and decided to take the local roads and check out the local scene in North Carolinas finest Hills and mountains or the back woods at it’s known.
I came up to this very authentic Mexican restaurant lots of food to choose from.
I order enchiladas while my guest had a Tortilla bowl of avocado, meat and salad mixed in, also 3 Coronas with a typical Orchata, drink that consist of a Milkie sugary ingredients of Mayan Aztec culture very tasty and satisfying.
I finnish off my enchiladas it was very good a lil salty due to to much melty cheese, but over all the meal was very good for a North Carolina Southern Comfort backwood restaurant.
Drop by and check it out the staff were excellent and the service was very good it’s one of a kind from this part of the neck of the woods it’s the Southern Comfort way.

I’m aware that take out has an effect on your meal. However this is kinda bad. Ordered 3 crunchy tacos and i literally live 6 minutes away. There was NOTHING crunchy about my tacos. They looked like limp tortilla sponges, and tasted about the same. This was my 2nd time here, the 1st time I got home and was missing part of my order. Overall I haven’t had a great experience at this place.

Service was good but food did not taste good I had the speedy Gonzalez my taco meat I had to spit out it tasted awful the server was friendly and very nice I noticed when I was rang up my speedy Gonzalez was seven dollars and he rang it up at 7:49 I didn’t say anything But seriously it was awful I didn’t even finish anything, it’s been better in the past I just don’t recall it ever tasting that bad Seriously how can you Mess up ground taco meat it was just awful tasting and the guy behind me said something about his food he said it tasted like fidos feet! lol
