Canes is a sports bar inside the Marriott Miami airport. It is ok but not great. As you might expect, there are Latino vibes, and I was excited about the Sancoche soup -but….it was not great. The same was true with the other items we ordered. They were ok. But after a long day of flying, this was a nice spot to grab late night dinner. The service was good, and the casual bar vibe relaxing.

Upscale. The Google menu is completely wrong and is 3 years old -pre Covid. I took a picture of the breakfast menu and uploaded it here. The interior decor is very modern and mixed with art deco. There’s a very cool full wall glass sculpture in the main lobby.

It’s a contemporary sports bar, kind of an odd combination . Staff was extremely attentive, friendly and polite. The food was good. I had the rib eye steak that was good to perfection with a lot of flavor, but a little on the tough side. My wife had the slider platter that was good. Overall a very nice experience, but pricey.
