Lovely location, their grounds are the prettiest I visited around Kapalua. But the food was really lackluster. I got eggs Benedict with side of hashbrowns and my husband got cinnamon roll French toast. On both, the bread was really oddly textured. Chewy and dense. The hashbrowns were also odd – chewy instead of crispy and very dry. We both got fresh squeezed juice at the recommendation of the waitress – the price wasn’t on the menu – when we got the check they were $16 each. Odd when the meals were only $26…I was pretty irritated to spend $32 on two juices. Complimentary valet was nice.

Our Lahaina family( Melanio Sumer & his wife Katelyn Sumer) decided to take us,( their parents from Oregon) out to this beautiful restaurant for a wonderful night out! It turned into a spectacular experience. The hospitality was above and beyond. Our server Marc was so sweet and full of humor, he made our dining experience with our children and grandchildren so special! Their Chef Rico did not disappoint with the food. Our Salmon , brussels sprout and then that beautiful dessert! No matter what we had was above and beyond.Then for him to come out and introduce himself and to add to our experience, was the ultimate. Thank you all for the amazing evening.

Overall, this restaurant is very good and the hotel looks amazing. The views and the grounds are beautiful. However for the prices, we felt there were a few things that should not happen for what seems like a 5 star restaurant. Like I said, overall we can’t give less than 4 stars for our overall experience but one of the first issues is that it took 75 minutes from the moment we sat down to the moment we got our entrees. We did not order any appetizers and were pretty fast in ordering so taking that long seems ridiculous. Our waiter was very nice and apologized but we had also been to Haleakala that morning so we were exhausted, which obviously wasn’t their fault but we didn’t expect to leave at 830 after having no appetizers or desert for a 630 reservation. My wife ordered the kanpachi, which she said was somewhat dry and again not a big deal but for the price and quality, it should be perfect. They also seemed a little disorganized. For example, our waiter did not know the entree I ordered was even in the menu. Overall, it was good but these issues definitely affected our experience.

The best dinner we’ve had between all the islands we’ve visit in the last 2 years. Ricky took exception care of us and gave us a dinner to remember. Complements to the chef on every portion of our service, from the appetizers to hand crafted deserts. Catch of the day was absolutely unreal. Can’t say enough about good about Ricky tho, he was a top notch server and gave us top notch experience. Highly recommend

The food was unique and very delicious. Cocktails were some of the best we had on all the islands. Our server was wonderful! He was very friendly and attentive, even as the place got busier through the night. I can’t eat gluten and there were so many choices for me on this menu – it was great! Highly suggest this restaurant and the neighboring bar. If we had the funds and were the couple that liked resort-style vacations, I would definitely stay on grounds too… The place was beautiful!

Our server, John, was fantastic! If you can get him as your server, I recommend it. He was attentive and very kind. The food was worth the price. Prepared and flavored spectacularly. The view was gorgeous. I absolutely recommend you go here at least once on your trip.
