I’m baffled as to all the good reviews for Candy’s. Very disappointing as we had been looking forward to trying this place. I ate three bites of my burger and hit gristle, so that was it for me. My husband, who almost ALWAYS eats all his food, even left half his burger. The patties were most likely frozen. It was like a Whataburger, but not as good. The fries were meh from-the-bag basic, and the tots were, well, tots. Pass on this one unless you are on jury duty and looking for lunch across from the courthouse.

Had this restaurant on my list of places to visit. I had jury duty and I was close by so I decided to visit and the restaurant didn’t disappoint. I place my order at counter and my order was delivered to my table. The burger was very good with generious portion of jalapeños. The fries were hot and fresh but lack taste. The decor was old school. Good place for a meal if your in the neighborhood.

We arrived about an hour before they closed. They do close at 6. The burgers were absolutely delicious. The fries and the tots were seasoned very well. The lady running the register and taking our order was very sweet and she checked on us a few times while we were eating.

Not your typical burger spot! I love the old school vibe this place has! This is some of the best food in the downtown area! Not very big so I don’t suggest having a large group of people.
Burgers aren’t the only thing on the menu! They have something tasty and delicious for everyone! The chicken fried steak is one of my favorites, along with their amazing onion rings!
