A lovely stop for a drive from Texas! They have tons of variety. Candy, fudge, truffles, ice cream, and food if you need that too! They even have a party room and the surrey with the fringe on top like in the musical “Oklahoma” It’s a magical place with a lot of vintage style and a play mining area for kids out front. Looks like they do photos with Santa during the holidays too.

What a special and unique candy shop experience! I love the nostalgic beauty of this store. My kids loved the little Santa workshop in the back. I liked that the store had later evening hours to appeal to travellers and those wanting some treats after dinner. My husband enjoyed the ice cream and my children picked out several uncommon pieces of candy. I took the cutest pictures of my toddler pushing the tiny shopping cart around the store. Lots of awesome photo opportunities throughout the store and outside in front of the building. The largest gummy bear in the world is for sale for $150. Highly recommend stopping by this unique store.

Neat little shop. Not what I was expecting from seeing the billboard for years. Really enjoyed the Christmas decorations. A lot of old artifacts to look at. The ice cream is Blue Bell. Good ice cream but nothing to drive out of the way for. The (I assume ) owner, older man was very busy yet sweet and made sure to let us know if we needed any help just ask. One of the workers at the counter was very nice. The other seemed rushed. There is a wide array of candy to choose from. We walked through several times. I think we all saw something new each time. Jelly Bean lovers, check this place out. They do have a couple Mexican candies, which I love.

Old fashioned and cute! Not very busy either. Seems like a super cute area for a date! Looks of candy choices from old fashioned to new ones. Powdered straws, jelly belly jelly bean wall, sour candy, tons of gummy candy, chocolate truffles in tons of flavors, fudge in lots of flavors, blue bell ice cream in a ton of flavors, snowballs, taffy, crunchy crystals, peel gummy candy, gaint gummy bears and worms, even a 88 lb soils chocolate santa!

Candyland Cottage & Ice Cream is an absolute delight to visit and walk around. There were so many candies from the 70s, 80s, and so on. I found the bubble gum cigarettes with the white chalky dust!!! what a blast from the past.

We ordered a brownie sundae that came in a flimsy bowl that the plastic spoon punctured. It was a super low budget. A place this wonderful should invest in regular dishes to make the stay or visits more enjoyable. We had to leave so the ice cream would melt on the table.

Establishment 1000/10
Customer service 7/10
Ice Cream 5/10

May return with kids to purchase candies.
