The Candlewyk Diner is a lot older than me, but It’s stood the test of time and survived Covid and is still open, despite so many others closing down. The interior is new and fresh, and you feel comfortable inside. The staff is friendly and attentive.. the menu is loaded with so many options. It’s great to see so much variety, but the menu writing is way too small. Looking at the Starters( appetizers), I actually counted 36 appetizer items… that’s just too many. Makes decisions more difficult and takes more time to figure out what you want.. I’ve been eating in the Candlewyk Diner since I was a young boy back in the 1970s, and as always, it never fails to fill my belly and keep me coming back all these years

I was surprised walking in here, looks more like an upscale steakhouse than a diner. They have huge menu with delicious options and the breakfast portions were huge and the prices are just right. Their italiano frittata was delicious. The staff were great and smiling, I am definitely coming back here again

Ate here tonight and had a great meal. Once you work through the 7++ pages of menu (they have something for everyone) and make a selection you are good to go. We had excellent service by Kasha and the food was great. The desert selections are just plain stupid … so many to choose from and of course we had to try some. All were great … give it a try and if Kasha is there you will get great service.

Food was delicious, and way surpasses any of the other diners in the area. Again I can’t stress, this is way better than what you might think when you hear the word diner in New Jersey. Steak was tender as a good steakhouse.
