Had a carry out Special Pizza and some mozzarella sticks. It was a fair price for the size and the toppings seemed pretty good, but the pizza was EXTREMELY SALTY. Unfortunately, nobody in the family was able go finish a slice. Not really sure what happened here, but the mozzarella sticks were fine. Seemed like a nice place and the people were friendly. Hopefully it’s a one time fluke, and I’ll be able to revisit later

This was my first experience ordering from Candela’s. I will definitely be back for more! The service was friendly, family owned authentic Italian food, desserts, and drinks. There was plenty of parking. My food was made fresh and it was delicious! I ordered the shrimp, scallops, crab fettuccine, and fried Calamari. The nice woman explained that it would come with lobster and not crab meat, which was fine. I love seafood and it was great! The noodles were perfect, and the meat was cooked just right. Next time, I will order out of my comfort zone just because I know it’s going to be made with detailed attention.

I’ve been on a quest to find a good cheesesteak and cheese pizza in this area and I can say, the journey is now over. I’m usually disappointed but this is the specific kind of pizza and sub I’ve been looking for. Bonus points for the nice lady who took my order over the phone and the nice guy who rang me up. I will return!

Entered and waited for about 2 minutes before being greeted. Seemed like a nice family owned business and was recommended by neighboring establishment. Asked twice if my party was dining in or ordering Togo. Even though we stated we were dining in. Was not busy. One other table was seated.
Once seated given menus and no mention of lunch specials. We ordered the baked ravioli with meat, chicken fire bites, and coffee.
When I tried the ravioli after cutting it into fours to look for the meat I quickly brought it to the waitresses attention. There was no desire or communicated interest to fix the issue by the manager Anna. I was simply told that I did not order meat ravioli.
The ambience was clean but not captivating.

Walked in and my 2 daughters needed to use the restroom while we were waiting to be seated. One out of the six employees that were sitting and eating asked with an attitude if my daughters were meeting people in the back. I replied they needed to use the restroom while we were waiting to be seated if that was OK. Later I understood there were a lot of kids using their restroom from a nearby ice cream store, but that rudeness kind of sets the tone.
Pizza is above average, pasta below average, Pepsi was flat, service very good. Nothing stood out that would justify a return when there are so many other options.

Great small local Italian restaurant. My husband tried their cheese pizza and he loved it! The mozzarella sticks were okay (too much breading) and I had the Chicken Piccata! Lots of mushrooms and it was delicious. The chicken melted in your mouth. Would definitely come back to try other items on the menu!

Wonderful little Italian spot off of Robious Rd. Reasonable prices, great service. Lots of local repeat customers.
Gluten-free crust was delicious.
Would definitely reccomend if you’re in the area.

Food is great! Unfortunately service was not. Waitress’s friends were visiting on her shift and were staring and laughing at people like mean girls from a Lifetime movie. It’s a small restaurant, so it was super awkward, because people can understand negative energy being directed at them. It doesn’t feel good to be laughed at when you’re just trying to get food. You never know what people are going through, and a restaurant is supposed to be a comforting space small or big. The food is really good though, I’d just recommend take-out.

Been a while since I hit Candela’s so thought I’d grab a Sicilian pizza there. Picked it up, felt nice and heavy (good sign for a Sicilian pie), but when I got home and opened the box I saw a nice thick crust all around, but the rest was as thin as a regular ny slice. Disappointment set in as I was craving that thick delicious dough a Sicilian pie is made of.
But, I have to say it was quite delicious. Very tasty. Loved the crunch of the crust.
So the question remained as I ate my pizza, is this just how they make them? Did the dough not rise? Did someone inexperienced with the glorious thick dough of a Sicilian punch it down?
The mystery remains. But at least I was satiated. I’d even get it again, due to that crust and the great flavor. But perhaps they’ll make me a true Sicilian pie someday…

Awesome Italian Restaurant. We had my wife’s 50th Birthday dinner here. They have a separate private room that accommodated all 38 of us. The staff were super friendly and courteous. They treated us with such care and they met our every need. The food is fresh and made to order at reasonable prices. The taste of the pizza is very close to New York Style, I believe it’s because they make their own sauce. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want authentic Italian food… Casual atmosphere.
