We were excited to try this restaraunt after a friend told us about it. Unfortunately, Julio kicked us out before we even sat because of our 100% legal, registered, trained and medically necessary service dog. Hank protects a 100% disabled female Army veteran with severe medical issues.
Nice work guys. We had an excellent meal and great service at Casa Grande, where Hank was welcomed and treated with the respect we all deserved. A formal ADA complaint was filed.

This is a hard review to leave. My girlfriend has really loved this place where I avoided it. But over the last several trips the food and service has really went downhill, which is sad to say. And sad to say that we are now looking for a new Mexican joint. Based on my last experience alone id leave one star but i gave it an extra one cause it used to be good.
When it comes to the service… it took forever to get someone to our table. We had our chips and salsa timely but couldn’t get anyone’s attention to get salt. Then we had to ask two different times and took forever. They wanted our drinks, appetizers order and main dish all at one time. We wanted to wait a min for our food. Now they were busy that night but didn’t look that busy.
Drinks took forever to get to us, we couldn’t even get them by the time we nibbled down all the chips, sweating from the spicier salsa we asked for. Then they were kinda out of whack on the flavor.
The food, ugh the food. We ordered the combo 5 to share. It was a chalupa and a Chile relleno. It had a side of beans with it. The beans on the other side of the plate tasted different from the one. Everything was super watered down too. They had a traditional style chalupa but tasted and felt like unfried wheat tortilla almost expired. We did what we could to Choke it down.
Just sucks that we’ve seen it go so far downhill.

We just ate dinner at the Crossville Cancun on Main. It was horrible. The chips for the salsa were old. So i ordered some queso cheese and it was so runny it was hard to eat. I had beef tacos al-a-carte. The shells were so stale I couldn’t eat them. Their ground beef is not seasoned at all. The beer was cold. We have now chalked it off our list of places to dine in Crossville.

Went around 8 pm very hungry on Sunday, Theu served half the food first and then had to wait a lot for the tortillas. By the time the remainder of the food arrived, the food was cold. We ordered quesadillas, the stuffing was over filled and not cut. They provided iron knife to eat and when asked for cutlery knife they said they only have that iron knife to eat. Especially one server was very rude. They may have been tired on Sunday night but should have taken a little bit more effort to make it fast for their customers.

You know when you are craving a flavor, craving a theme, craving a culture style of food, sometimes 1 place does not satisfy the craving. You eat the meal and you still want more. Well when I’m craving Mexican, Canaan Mexican Restaurant scratches that itch for me. I go in and order the Texas Rice! This is a bed of rice, covered with fajita style toppings: chicken, steak, shrimp, green peppers, onions, and Broccoli? Yes Broccoli! Then covered in cheese! Oh my the queso. Love this dish! Can get it every time! Service is great, food is fast and Hot! Love this authentic Mexican restaurant in Crossville.

Ok… to be quite honest, I e been to this Cancun on multiple occasions, and have always thought it was slightly above average, but the meal I ate the other day while sharing dinner with my daughter was OUT OF THE PARK!!!! I tried Carnitas for the very first time… juicy, flavorful, and tons of food!!! The rice and beans were also delicious, but the pork is worthy of tremendous mention!!! So so so good!!! Try it then thank me for letting you know how good it is!!!!

Im a 100% disabled veteran and this restaurant refused to let us bring in our certified service dog into the restaurant. This is against the law! What a disappointed to go out and be turned away for needing a service dog.
