Definitely a Mexican restaurant! Had Mexican boxing on the TV. Chips and salsa, standard. I got the Birria pizza, basically Birria tacos in quesadilla form, it was delicious and very filling. I highly recommend. My only complaint was no tamales or Chile relleno. My friend said the Carne asada was excellent.

Cancun Mexican Restaurant in Sneads Ferry has been our go-to spot for years, and it’s easily our favorite restaurant in town.
The food is always consistent – and I mean always. Whether it’s packed or slow, the quality never changes. Everything comes out hot, fresh, and exactly how you expect it. That reliability matters, and they nail it every time.
But what truly sets Cancun apart is how they make you feel. Freymar and Devon are incredible. You can’t forget Reidy or Marta, either (or Johnathan!!!) They know our usual orders before we even say them, they’re always attentive without hovering, and they genuinely care about us beyond just being customers. They don’t treat you like a table number – they treat you like family. And they mean it.
There’s something special about walking into a place and feeling known, welcomed, and valued every single time. Cancun isn’t just somewhere we eat – t’s somewhere we belong.
If you’re anywhere near Sneads Ferry, this place is a must.
I will always come back here if I need somewhere to feel like home.

Upon arrival the place was busy. Decided to stay anyways and we were actually seated fast. The waiter was nice and took our order fast. The restaurant was clean. All the food was hot and had good flavor. The only complaint I have with this restaurant is the cheese dip. The dip was like it was watered down. It was very runny even when cold and was lacking flavor. Don’t try to save a few dollars a the cheese dip and leave it rich and creamy! Other than that we were pleased with the food.

We have been faithful customers of Cancun since we moved to Sneads Ferry. Their food was always great. This trip I asked them to honor a birthday coupon that was sent via the Toast app, the manager refused to do anything. Even a happy birthday would have worked. We ordered an appetizer and did not get plates, and no refills on drinks.

We had lunch here today and it had been a while since we visited (2020). So glad we stopped in !!! Menu had a good variety and the staff was nice… friendly and attentive! Their salsa was soooooo fresh and I made sure I let them know!!!
We both had the chimichanga lunch special (I had the chicken and my husband had the beef)! Awesome seasonings!!!
He enjoyed having a “Mexican coke” as he’s not a Pepsi fan.

My family and I had dinner here tonight for the first time. We enjoyed everything that we ordered! There wasn’t a wait time. Was seated immediately. The waiter was so nice! She got the drinks, chips and salsa out to us within 5 minutes! I ordered Birria Tacos and Carne Asada Fries and also a Cucumber Jalapeño Margarita! Food and drinks were AMAZINGGGG! I give this place 9.5/10 only took off .5 because of the language barrier between the waiter and family while ordering. HOWEVER WHEN I TELL YOU SHE UNDERSTOOD AND GOT EVERYTHING RIGHT!! DEFINITELY VISITING THIS PLACE AGAIN!!!

Ordered online. Tried to call immediately after our order to correct something and make some modifications . They never answered. Got back to our beach house and this was our cheese quesadilla. Not much cheese! Cheese was hard and the tortilla wasn’t even cooked!!! And the steak in our chimichanga and burrito was BURNT and overcooked. Couldn’t eat it either. Pictures below. Very dissatisfied!
