Staff are always attentive and great! One of the reasons we enjoy eating here plus the food is always fresh and good! My kids love to eat all the chips and drink the salsa. If you want Mexican food just go here.

Cancun is easy to find and at a great location. We were seated immediately. Our server, was incredibly polite and patient. The food was out to our table in what felt like a very short time and it was delicious. I ordered taquitos Mexicanos. I asked server to surprise me because I couldn’t decide between chicken of beef.
He was so smart, he had them prepare 2 of each!!
That was incredibly thoughtful and a great customer service!! It was served with very delicious beans and rice too!
Hubbs got the taco salad. He wasn’t impressed by the size of the salad. It seems as if the taco salads are relatively small, but it was good he said.
Our waiter kept drinks full and the table clear!
The prices are fair and reasonable also.
And it’s an absolutely beautiful restaurant. I love the murals, the tables, the chairs! Great experience!

Our waiter was rohelio, absolutely fantastic service. I got the tacos de carnitas and a jalapeño margarita, both were phenomenal. My girlfriend got the tacos de pescado and a pina colada margarita, she was also very impressed. Some of the best food I’ve ever had, recommend to the highest degree.

I understand the raising of prices because a lot of places have had to. But when your prices go up and the quality of food goes down that I can’t support. The last time I went into this restaurant I ordered the same thing I always get, Ismael special. It’s basically chicken, shrimp, rice and cheese. When it came out it didn’t have any shrimp on it so I brought it to the bartenders attention and he said it’s not supposed to. I asked for a menu and he dropped it off and walked away. By the time he came back and I pointed out the description in the menu I was already halfway done with my meal. I told him to not worry about bringing the shrimp now since I’m almost done and just discount what he thinks the cost of the shrimp would’ve been. I had about 1/4 of it left when he brought out the shrimp, the shrimp that I had to convince him I was missing and I was almost done eating anyways, needless to say I didn’t use the shrimp. Last night 12/13/24 we ordered takeout and I got my usual again. This time I did receive the shrimp but it tasted off and the chicken was extremely overcooked and dry. So like I said, I don’t mind paying higher prices when the quality is there but unfortunately I will not be patronizing this establishment anymore. On top of that their sodas are $4.99 which is double anywhere else in town and even pricier than upscale restaurants in Lansing.

Lots of menu choices. Always a couple of specials that are lower priced for the day. Food is nicely prepared and tastes great. Owner and staff are always friendly and accommodating. Takeout from next door is also very good. Different from what is available at the restaurant.

It’s pretty nice here and the food isn’t to bad I will come back again. The chips and salsa were amazing! And the service here was pretty awesome. I got the el pastor tacos and they pack a little bit of heat. But the cool thing is, is how fast the food is prepared it’s incredible!!

We live in Owosso and although we have 2 Mexican restaurants there we always drive to Cancun in St. John’s. We have had terrible service in our hometown, but we are always welcomed there and remembered.. Rene is an excellent server, took really good care of us and even bought us both a shot for no reason at all. Little things like that add up and will keep us coming back! Keep up the great work guys!
