I had the most unfortunate and confusing experience at normally one of my favorite Mexican eatery’s today. I stopped in around 2:30pm for a late lunch this Sunday. There was one waiter and one other man I saw working there, not that I expected it to be booming on a Sunday afternoon but definitely didn’t make up for the lack of service being that I was one of four customers in the entire restaurant. Walked in and wasn’t greeted. Waited a minute to be seated. I waited several minutes for a drink order and then after receiving chips and salsa shortly after i waited 15 more minutes for my drink and saw dirty tables around, no signs of staff, and no drinks. I was hungry and disappointed and walked out. First time in my life I’ve ever had to walk out of a restaurant. Very disappointed because I’ve had good food here in the past.

I had a highly disappointing experience with Cancun Mexican Grill while staying in a hotel in Chippewa Falls. I ordered very overpriced fajitas through DoorDash, only to receive them without shells. When I called the restaurant to resolve the issue, I spoke with someone claiming to be the manager who shockingly blamed the DoorDash driver for supposedly taking the shells. This was absurd and unprofessional.
I requested a refund since we couldn’t eat the fajitas without the shells, but the manager eventually said they would deliver the shells within five minutes. They never arrived. I ended up ordering shells from Walmart delivery because I didn’t want to take my young granddaughter out in the cold.
To top it all off, the fajitas were utterly flavorless–I’ve never tasted such bland Mexican food before. This place is definitely not worth the money or hassle. Avoid at all costs!

Will not be returning. Had a Fajitas salad…no sour cream, no guacamole, no cheese, the tomatos were cooked with the peppers and onions, crazy. $16.00 pretty sad. My husband had Steak Fajitas, again, no sour cream, Pico or guacamole. That is standard, $22.00. Sorry but u need to really step it up. Oh, i ordered guacamole and got about 1/4 cup for $10.00.

I am very much unhappy that I asked to speak with a manager and was told one was not available. I asked for the manager next to my server who was rolling silverware at the bar. I asked for the sugar when we ordered the food. I noticed him sitting, so I walked over to get my sugar from another employee. He then pointed to the employee where it was located. Behind the same bar he was rolling silverware. Hey if you are cut and doing side work, don’t take the table. Or don’t give bad service just because you’re ready to go home. But who am I to assume, maybe you didn’t hear me. Ok . We order three plates and an extra chorizo taco. The only edible warm item was my boyfriend’s chicken thing. When we ordered the server asked if peppers were ok? I said no peppers or onions. He asked if tomato’s would be ok. Plate came with only chicken and onions. I now believe the servers wear a mitten to give the appearance of hot food. At Applebees we would throw this liquid to make microwaved fajitas sizzle on the cast iron. The plate with the extra taco was cold, and the chorizo was colder. My refried beans were spoiled. The carne asada was not far behind. I got that buttery flavor that I’ve tasted as spoilage begins. Knowing we were not going to get anywhere with our server , we just paid the $73 dollars. I feel so bad that my boyfriend just paid for this. To be 100 percent fair, I’m not expecting homemade anything 21 hours away from Texas. Or this far north but could you try. I just moved here two weeks ago tomorrow, and for perspective to a manager or owner that I hopefully reads this. I am writing this with hopes that can hopefully push a food first approach rather than margins. You don’t even keep salt in pepper on a table. Yes y’all are busy and car are in the parking lot. Yes ! I know you can’t please everyone but even when the cashier asked us how the food was, we told him actually the beans were spoiled. He said oh and swiped the card. Again I stress this point. Train your staff to care. Train people to care or remind whoever that this called SERVICE INDUSTRY. Just because you can get away with sub par effort, I know you can do better.

Just stopped again today for take out. Ordered a Taco salad with EXTRA lettuce and tomatoes. And that was all I got! No cheese, no Olives, no jalapeño, no sour cream or salsa. Too bad they don’t understand English enough to get the orders correctly. The person who waited on me was rude and walked away before our transaction was completed, saying nothing.

My husband and I both got Chicken enchiladas and the Verde sauce had a flavorful kick and my husband liked the red sauce too.

Start of saying our waitress Liliana was absolutely amazing! She was very attentive, friendly and served with a smile. I had the Seafood Chimichanga, which was good besides the fact they used imitation crab. Wife had Enchiladas, one beef that was good, but the chicken one was absolutely disgusting (sorry but it was) I had to spit out the bite she gave me. And the cheese one was as hard as a rock. My girls enjoyed their Casadela and chicken strips. If not for our waitress I would have given it a 2 star.
