The vibe is high-energy and very lifestyle-driven, great music, a lively crowd, and an atmosphere that just makes you want to stay a while. It feels happy, social, and full of life.
The food was really good and honestly very fairly priced for the quality. Everything we tried hit the mark, flavorful, well presented, and totally worth it. The drinks were also good, well made and enjoyable, but I will say they’re on the pricier side. A couple of drinks can make your bill jump up fast, so I’d definitely recommend taking advantage of happy hour or being a bit strategic with drink choices.
That said, the overall experience was great. Between the energy, the music, the food, and the fun atmosphere, Kanaya is a solid spot for a night out when you’re in the mood for something lively and social. I’d absolutely go back, especially for the food and the vibe.

I have been here 3 times since it had opened and I am planning my birthday here. I love the atmosphere and the service! Servers are always on top of the tables and are very kind. The atmosphere is so much fun, every time I bring new friends to this place they leave wanting to come back! I am so glad they finally have something like this in El Paso, it is such a great concept. The show and the music and the decor are such a joy.
I will definitely be coming back often and will be bringing in more people.

I had made a reservation to go with my best friends. We arrived around 7 pm and the place was half empty, spacious, and nice. We ordered, ate, and were having drinks when we asked the waitress about the shows they had; which days and times they were on. We decided we would stay at least half an hour after the show started just to watch for a little while.
Later on, an employee kept coming to our table to check if we had a reservation… I suppose just like all the other customers that were there and some who had arrived at the same time we had. Well, halfway through our second round of drinks, a man with glasses, whose identity I didn’t know (could be owner/manager), told us that reservations were for two hours, that there were 12 people waiting outside, and basically asked us to leave.
Mind you when you reserve there is no disclaimer stating reservations are only for two hours, it wasn’t mentioned at the entrance or at the table.
I suppose they wanted to seat a large birthday group right where we were sitting, but they didn’t even offer to sit us elsewhere or move the table; because there were a couple of other empty tables.
So, you’ve been warned, save yourselves the embarrassment; & they haven’t even been open that long in their “new location” (126 Shadow Mountain) with their rebrand (that must also mean something). Let’s see how it goes for their other customers, I wouldn’t doubt other customer service issues arising with their way of resolving “issues”. ♀️ I did ask for a refund for that second drink since I was only halfway drinking it and I was NOT about to chug that while being kicked out. ALSO I did not like his tone and the way he responded to me asking “yes yes we will give it to you”.
You guys can come up with your own conclusions, judgement and look at other bad reviews that go unacknowledged, they only take in consideration their good reviews. From my experience seems to be the same attitude in person. They just want your moneyyyy, and don’t care about you having a good time. ♀️

Immediately became a regular customer after my first visit. Everyone I have taken since has likewise returned multiple times. This place is classy yet very energetic. You can have a fine dining experience while simultaneously enjoying a fun nightlife experience. A perfect execution of elegant fun. No rowdiness, no distastefulness. Yet an electric vibe, great music, singing, entertainment. Truly a place where you can spend all night having a blast.
