This is One of the best bakery in New Jersey, and that is coming from someone who has tried a lot of bakeries. The service is amazing.
They made my wedding cake and it was the most beautiful cake I have ever seen, not only did it look good It tasted so good.

I’ve had a lot of patience with this place especially seeing that there’s not alot of breakfast spots in walking distance from where I work, though as each time I go here I’m reminded on why I don’t order from them every day like I used to.
They constantly get your food order wrong, the food portions have gotten smaller while the price has gone up. Some of the food items like the empanadas and pastries aren’t fresh despite going in the morning and ordering them. The list goes on.
A couple days ago I went to grab a breakfast sandwich, asked for COOKED peppers and onions, and they slapped raw uncooked onions and peppers, and a lot of it so I couldn’t even scrape and pick them off.
I wish Wood Ave had a solid breakfast place that doesn’t need a car to get to for folks that work in the area, but it doesn’t so people go here for the convenience which is why I feel like they still get business.

I have been coming to this bakers since it was Cinderella bakery before. There tres leche cake was amazing. However since it became Canastas I’m not sure what has happen. I always get my cakes from here and don’t get me wrong they are still good, I got a strawberry cake for my daughters 16th birthday in Nov. It was amazing I got a tres leche last year for Valentine’s Day and it was as good as before & the price was more than double. A few weeks ago it was my mom’s 60th Bday & I ordered her a cake during the week to pick up that Saturday to take to a surprise family dinner we had planned for her, when I went to pick the cake up they made the cake in the wrong color!! I was in a rush as I was on my way to the dinner & still had a few stops to make. I told the girl I would take the cake as is if they just gave me a discount, as I already felt it was a bit overpriced. She she told me ok hold on I guess she reached out to the lady who baked the cake & asked about the discount a few min went by & nothing. I even ordered a coffee while they holding my cake hostage & specialty asked the gentleman to put almond milk in my coffee he said ok, I stood there & watched as he put regular milk in my coffee, the the young girl asked if I can wait for the lady to come fix the cake I told her I cannot, I was in a rush & had to go, she dismissed me took another customer and was still texting on the phone. The cake was behind the register, I asked her again to give me the cake at a discount so I can leave I had to go. Again she just asked if I can wait 5 min I had already been there 10min I said no just give me the cake I really need to leave. Again they dismissed me the gentleman that is always there didn’t say a word to me & I’m sure he knew what was going on. I didn’t walk out because I had already paid half the cake off when I ordered it. After another 10min some lady comes in takes the cake to the back I wait some more, because now what am I going to do. She fixed the cake and they proceed to charge me the FULL amount of the cake!! I was so angry I just paid so I can leave. My husband was in the car waiting that whole time it took about 25-30min and they didn’t even discount the cake. I was so disappointed I have prefers so many cakes from here, sadly I will not be returning to this bakery, it’s sad that they treated a repeat customer this way!! Extremely unprofessional!! So disappointed my SIL was going to order her baby shower cake from here in March & after this happened she will be going somewhere else!! Treat your customers right!!!

This is a very good bakery. Love their Portuguese rolls and bread. And they’re a great breakfast spot. I really enjoy their huervos rancheros and egg sandwiches. Would not hesitate to recommend this bakery!

One of Linden’s best kept secrets. The breakfast and lunch here is too good. My wife and I love coming here, servers are attentive when you sit down, the prices are really cheap. We got lunch for $25 for the both of us including a tres leches slice to take home. I had to review this as we’re sitting here because the breakfast today was out of this world. Those chocolate chip pancakes were slightly crispy on the outside and super soft on the inside, not overly sweet either. Cuban sandwich is fireee, breakfast sandwiches, home fries, the list goes on! No complaints after coming here for the 10th time lol

We see that this place offers bakery and “restaurant” services. We say “restaurant” services, because we have come to understand that they put more emphasis on baking than their failed techniques in culinary experience. What do we mean by that? Their food eats very dry, they have very basic seasoning or lack of, and they do not even provide basic cutlery to appreciate the full culinary experience. What are we; animals? You definitely need to request for a sauce or something to counteract the certain dryness to their dishes. Oh, we forgot. You have to purchase it.
