I enjoy visiting this store… the staff are very helpful and will go out their way to assist you. If you don’t see any item on the shelf they are willing to order. The discount I received was more than half compare to other places. My first encounter with the wine I love was at the OG and I have found others who sell for astronomical prices… Thanks to Canal’s I am a happy customer!!! A glass of wine a day keeps the doctor away 😉

Stopped in to check out their craft beer selection. I was not impressed with the selections and alot of items not properly price marked. Customer service was poor…. not helpful. I also want to mention that the floor is in tough shape and I am also confused as to why there are Disney characters in the store when this is not a children’s store. The outdoor awning just randomly placed in the middle of the store and the tattered banner flags make it look even worse. There is nothing there for me.

This Canals was always a friendly good store to shop at. Apparently there are new owners and an woman of east Indian descent that works the cash register and profiles customers. She will sneakily nod at employees to follow customers. I’ve watched her several times. I’ve shopped here for over 20 years but it’s just not worth the insult and the hassle.

Absolutely incredible wine selection but more importantly an owner who knows his customers and their tastes. My wife and I have been coming here for the past few years and feel like we have our own personal sommelier. Time and time again his recommendations have blown us away and just as we think we’ve found the perfect bottle he recommends one better. Don’t let the name fool you, he stocks some incredibly high end wines as well as others to fit any budget. So whether you are price conscious, starting to develop your palate or an wine expert this is the store for you.

Excellent selection and everyone there is very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly! They have helped me track down some great whiskey, hard to find wine, and they always have good deals on cases of beer. A family owned business you should definitely check out.

I just left this store 7/12 @1512 and will not be returning. I came in to look for a product that my wife has been searching for for a while. Not ONE person asked if I needed help. But on my way out the Indian lady behind the counter had her eyes locked on my hand that I had in my sweatshirt… Not every person of color is a theif. Next time take the time to ask if I need help, not assume that I am walking out with something from your store.

I only gave one star because I couldn’t give less. Over two weeks ago I purchased items here and my debit card was declined. The cashier told me to do it again. It went through but I later saw on my bank statement that both transactions went through! I tried to resolve it, going to the store on three separate occasions. Each time I was told something different. I will never patronize this store again. They claimed they couldn’t find the receipt for the date of the sale and to call back. Then they told me to come when the owner was there. Then the owner(who was the one who couldn’t find the receipt) said he’d told me to come back on a weekday between 9-4 so he could call whoever while I was there. He never told me that! He had told me to call him on Monday. I will now call my bank and dispute the charge but they will never get my business again.

Great liquor store with nice selection of Irish whiskey and Bourbon. Friendly staff and the owner is a really nice and helpful guy. Good selection of mixers and pretty much everything you need for your bar. Highly recommend.

Huge selection! There was a lot to see, and the staff is pretty knowledgeable. Lots of sizes, flavors, and styles in liquor, wine and beer. Some mixers, accessories, and an ok selection of minis. Interesting to just walk around! Prices are also pretty good!
