Unfortunately, the grilled octopus didn’t quite hit the mark. It lacked the flavor and tenderness I was hoping for, which was a bit of a letdown compared to how good the squid was.
Service was another highlight — the staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout the meal.
My only real complaint is the 3% surcharge added to the bill. While it’s not a large amount, it’s disappointing to learn that it doesn’t go to the staff but instead goes straight to the restaurant.
Food came and it lacked flavor…one of the dish (pasta) was cold, we had to ask the server to have the food reheated.
Imagine eating a reheated food at a fancy restaurant.
Mind you, our table was right in front of the podium where the manager stood all this time, doing nothing. Not once did he feel the need to stop by and ask if everything was okay.
Oh…and they also closed at 9:30 when the closing time online is 10pm…..
Overall a bad experience with food and service.
Will not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
The pasta he suggested is “pasta special” which is changed everyday. I would say this is the best pasta I’ve eaten in the past few months.
Also the pizza he recommended, “Cristina” was also amazing.
Regarding the IPA beer, it’s really my personal opinion. But it’s really fruity and tasty.
Service was outstanding and the food was very well flavored. However the pastand the ravioli’s were under cooked in my opinion. The Appetizer was delicious and flavorful. It had great options for non-alcoholic drinks as well.
I would definitely come back here again but ask them to make sure they cook the pasta a little longer. Be I’m not used to el Dente pasta. Ever that is an opinion on whether the noodle is undercooked or not.
Despite my hesitation on going to an Italian restaurant in vegas, this was by far the best meal we had in town.
I broke the cardinal rule and ordered gnocchi bolognese. Now, usually, red meat sauce not made by nonni is a no- no, but gnocchi is one of my favorite dishes. I was preparing myself to be disappointed; however, the dish was superb! The meat sauce was spot on, cooked perfectly, without crazy spices, and had plenty of meat. The gnocchi were probably ( no, definitely) the best I have ever had. Light, melt in your mouth, homemade gnocchi!..all I can say is WOW! Our other dish was fussilli with shrimp in a light red sauce.. another outstanding choice with 7 big shrimp in the order. The pasta again was light, homemade, cooked perfectly, al dented and the burrata cheese was very creamy, as it should be. ( more a Puglia thing than Veneto, but it worked wonderfully in the dish)
I highly recommend this place. Tab came to 156.00 for two, which included a ceasar salad, some mozz and tomatoes Caprese Insalata) as an appetizer, a mixed drink, and a moretti birra. ( the drinks alone cost 30.00) The service was OUTSTANDING!
I am looking forward to returning and trying this place again.
