We went this morning and the ladies working there were extremely welcoming the second we walked in and very attentive. The food came out fast and hot. We got omelets and a Mickey Mouse pancake. Food was delicious and great servings. It was extremely affordable too. Our server was very nice and attentive. We will for sure be back. Highly recommend!

Banging breakfast joint. Conducted a pre-interview here for an oral history project. Very good sound quality even during mid morning rush. The staff was amazing, plenty of coffee refills and attentiveness. The food isnyour normal diner food with a flair, which is cool for the area and prices.

I ordered breakfast for lunch which I normally do. Corn beef hash, eggs over medium, breakfast potatoes with onions & peppers and rye toast. I was hoping for more flavor/seasoning in the hash & potatoes but no luck. Maybe try a light dash of Tony’s lol that would be great! If the potatoes & hash had flavor it would’ve been an easy 5 stars! But my service was great!
The Erie Canal is located right behind the restaurant where you park. I thought there’d be a view of the Erie Canal from inside the restaurant but there wasn’t.

The breakfast menu was extensive and the food lived up to the descriptions. Coffee was great and the hash browns and bacon were top notch. Everything was cooked perfectly and came faster than I have ever received a meal.
All of the servers were very welcoming and friendly. Will definitely be back!

There food used to be good. Our meal today was absolutely disgusting. The fish fry was soggy on bottom and when you but into fidh all you got was soggy batter and a mouth full of grease. The new england showfer tasted luke it had been sitting around in a warming kettle where soup had burned in bottom. My boyfriend wanted us to go to crosspark and i said no because we used yo like the fish fries from canal view. Never again. Not to be mean but a few weeks agai i got a fish fry from salvatores and it was 100 times better then what i got at canal view today. At least the fish fry from salvatores wasnt soggy and swumming in grease. Very dissapointed especially because of cost

Stopped in for a late lunch and was not disappointed. Our server was attentive without hovering. The food was very tasty with a good size portion for the price.
Went back on a Sunday for lunch at 1:00. The place was packed, but we only had to wait about 10 minutes to be a seat. An odd half table and half booth. The table (bolted to the floor) was so close to the booth seats that only a skinny adult or small children would fit. I think it was an effort to get one more table jammed in. Service was slow, we had to ask two different servers to get cream for our coffee, but like I said before, every seat was taken. The wife’s Crispy Chicken Wrap was cold, like it had been refrigerated for a couple of hours. It did taste good though. Their Montana Burger was really good too, so was the Chicken Vegetable Soup.

Ask for Jayda G. She is absolutely the best server! Attentive and sweet! She deserve a raise! Food was yummy, hot and quick. I come often due to work obligations and never disappointed.

I had breakfast chocolate chip pancakes it was delicious and I had eggs but the eggs taste like lemons and it had lemon in it not going to lie it tasted delicious lemon eggs are my favorite eggs ever. Thank you for limited edition lemon eggs I will come here more often.
