Yesterday was my first visit. My parents have been telling me how good they are. Pictured are the steak special, meatball sub and a genoa salami sub. The genoa salami sub was mine & I tried all the others.
I absolutely loved my sandwich! The steak special was also tasty. The staff was friendly & efficient! I will definitely be back to try their pizza next!

this is a nice pizza shop. Great salad, subs and of course pizzas to choice from. Place is clean and all the windows make it bright and welcoming. This is a must visit place when in Canaan. this is a ground level business for easy access and of course a win with the kids.

Today, 8/30/25 around 2pm, I ate there with my family. The guy preparing our food was handling food without gloves on. We watched him lick his fingers more than once while handling sun rolls and continued to take his phone in and out of his pocket while handling food.
Preparing food without gloves is a health & safety violation in NH, and I hope management addresses this issue appropriately.
I grew up in Canaan and I have dined here several times, and have never had a complaint until now.

Food ok but not the best Mexican we have ever had! Prices high and service lousy! Waited over ten minutes to even get water ! A waste of time and money! Can not recommend this time

Their Italian sub is good, but I definitely noticed that the service attitude was notably off towards me(visibly non-local) versus to other patrons.
I had ordered a large Italian sub with a few toppings, and sat down to wait for it. When I received my food, I was waved at to come up and retrieve it. I didn’t see a problem there but I realized that the portions looked off(looked more like a small) and that they didn’t give me any toppings. They came up to the table for other patrons and handed their food with the correct order.
If you aren’t local or cannot pass as being from the area, I can not recommend eating here out of principle because of the implicit disrespect.

I’ve always been a fan of the pizza here it’s been a favorite since I could remember. I was standing waiting for my takeout being patient because they are clearly busy. The older lady working told me to go sit down rudely As one of the workers that work there looks at me, knowing I was patiently waiting and not being a bother, but Apparently, standing there was irritating her and making her stressed. The older gentleman handed my order, and I had told him sorry if I was being a bother standing there, but she had yelled at me and created a little bit of a scene. Wished him a good night and left…. I feel sorry for the workers that have to deal with that kind of behavior.

I always have to stop here when in the area and I’ve never been disappointed! I always get a sub sandwich and they make it to perfection. Never got a pizza but the people in the dining area always look happy with theirs. The employees are always very warm and friendly and the place is always really clean.
