Great meal in a fun spot. The pimento and candied bacon burger was awesome. So good in fact that it didn’t last long enough for the picture. Beer selection is brilliant. Very diverse, and has some home runs like this Belgian Carolus. Kim behind the bar was amazing!

Stopped by today around 1:00pm to stop at Campus Gas prior to a Wake Women’s soccer game. Google had them as open, their hours on the door had them as open, but the place was clearly not open. Very confusing hours based on which business you’re supporting now. Will try them again, but hope they fix the hours discrepancy.

Excellent bar food, cool atmosphere, unique location. Campus Gas is a place I drove by for years. It’s been open for 5 years and I never had time to stop by this converted gas station. Well I’m glad I did. The people were friendly, the food was fantastic and my beer on a Friday night went down nice and smooth.
The only reason a star was removed – they got my order wrong. I asked for a chicken philly and got a steak one. It turned out to be delicious anyway.

Really cute location! Went with a group and got a decent spread of the menu. We enjoyed the burgers, the phillies, and the pimento cheese sandwich, but the fries weren’t my favorite. Another person in our group got the quesadilla and wasn’t impressed with the size of it. They also used corn tortillas. The burger had a good sized patty and was cooked medium, which I like. However, it was a bit expensive for lunch (~$16 for a burger, fries, and drink). I will probably go back when I want a flavorful burger though.

I’m in town visiting a friend, and she insisted we come by. It’s super quirky, and the service is great. Our food was ready quickly, and the prices can’t be beat for the quality. Will definitely be back.

A group of 16 veterans came to campus gas on motorcycles and came in to get a drink, when the first person finally got to the counter the staff left and no one served any of us. We were told to be patient the sever went to clean trays? Unbelievable so we took it as Campus Gas didn’t want us there and we left to support another local business.
