Alright guys, so what’s the verdict on campus burgers near SJSU …
Reviews
Parking is small and tight but surrounding lots and street parking are plentiful. Added care in the van accessible spot was much appreciated.
Floor space kept counter rolling. So clean it sparkled. Old fashion open face neon gave it a 50’s vibe, very nice tough.
Big print menu was very easy to order from. Line was fast moving. Order on their app gets you in and out faster. Great customer service made it feel personable.
The food was great Double cheese burger with fries and a shake tasted pretty amazing. Burger was juicy didn’t need additional toppings, fries came in a cup and were crisp but not burnt, the milkshake was smooth and delicious.
of the 2 times I have been there I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. No now serving guest 75 please when your number is 108.
Seating is plentiful outside in the patio great for small groups traffic in that area is fairly light so noise and exhaust are pretty much shielded from the outside area. You can actually talk without having to shout to be heard
Everyone their seemed happy from the backroom staff, counter and even the customers.
I encourage you to try it out, I am happy I did.
Service is unbelievably fast. There’s almost never a line, and my order is either handed to me right away or ready in under five minutes. I’ve honestly never experienced that level of consistency anywhere else.
The burgers remind me of a cheaper ($10 or less for a meal) In-N-Out: simple, satisfying, and cooked well. Just note that they don’t use fresh veggies — only grilled onions or jalapeños — which works for their style but may not be for everyone.
They have a very basic menu focusing on burgers and fries. This means their counter service is quite quick.
It was a tasty burger, though smaller than I expected. Fries served in cup was a bit unusual, but pretty good fries. My root beer however was had very little root beer syrup, tasted diluted.
We wanted to dine in, but it was chilly outside and there we weren’t outside heaters. Inside offered only counter seating, and sitting shoulder to shoulder isn’t conducive to having a conversation. This seems to be a difficult corner for restaurants. I wish Campus Burgers good luck.
