Reviews
We had both dinner and breakfast – Benedict for breakfast and bologenes with the onion chestnut soup for dinner. Then shared a creme brulee in the end.
But the service was fantastic. David was my server in the bar area and he made sure I had a great time.
Would go back for another meal for David alone.
husband’s vegetarian and they catered to him really well. He did not miss out on anything and all his entrees kept disappearing before I could take a shot of it.. Lol. I recommend this place for special occasions and romantic dinners.
Would definetely recommend this hotel and restaurants to everybody! It’s a true sample of elegance and service. Thank you again to all the staff for going just that little step extra for the guests!!!
We had the tasting menu with a glass of champagne. The food was delicious and very inventive. We also ordered the black truffle dish that happened to be in season around that time. Overall, it was a great experience. The lobster dish was very tasty and it was my favorite. Reservations were not that hard to come by but the room was nonetheless full when we were there (pre-covid).
I’ve dined here for dinner as well but my most recent visit was to check out their new brunch menu. My hubby and I def ordered with our eyes but it was worth it! They have some really good options to choose from!
We started off with the new 3×3 terroir champagne tasting (they’ll have different champagnes on rotation…I think) for $65.
Of course we had to get the Caviar service with our champagne tasting, it’s only fitting!
For small course, we got 2 things.
Soft scrambled eggs is my favorite and really hard to find a place that makes it good in the city (shocking!). They’ve managed to do it well here. We asked for no smoked salmon because we’re not huge fans of smoked salmon in general.
Warm naan buns and fondue with black Australian truffle ($40 for .5 grams of truffle = worth it)! OH MY GOSH, these simple small bites were magical. 10/10 recommend. It’s bomb af!
For our main course, we got 3 options because we were really hungry and wanted to try a bit of everything as much as we could.
The Maine lobster roll with curry vinaigrette is the BEST nontraditional lobster roll we’ve had. I’m throughly impressed by what chef did here! I believe they use brown butter to grill the brioche bun which is absolutely crispy and perfect. Perfection! 10/10 recommend.
The cheeseburger is a pretty good size. We got medium and the burger patty was cooked to perfection…tender and juicy! I highly recommend if you’re in the mood for a good burger. This paired very well with one of the rosés we had!
Gulf prawns coconut curry, very light and fluffy curry. It’s almost like a curry soup. This was really good with the basmati rice.
Dessert, we were pretty stuffed but there’s always room for dessert in my tummy!
The Elderberry cheesecake was the perfect way to end the meal. It’s not too sweet which is perfect for me!
Oops on the long review but I thoroughly enjoyed their new brunch menu and wanted to share with everyone else. I can’t wait to go back to try other items. YUM
The food did not disappoint. In my experience of Michelin starred places, this restaurant is the best till date. I loved the various finger foods that came in the beginning, starting from a pear, to pumpkin vadas. I had the poached lobster for the 1st course and it was delectable. My husband and child got the Spice pot which had a ceremonial presentation. The 2nd course was the scallop Dosa with kale chutney and it was absolutely out of this world. What a genuine delicious dish!
I had the duck as my 3rd course and it was medium rare and yummy with the side of apple chutney and some more fun stuff. My boys had the hen which was served with a curry leaf khichdi.Ended with an impressive dessert and also a passion fruit cake as an anniversary surprise and chocolates to end the meal. I LOVED the food, the ambience and the service was superb. Will surely go again to experience the amalgamation of Indian cuisine with a hint of French and European flavors.
