Reviews
The waiting area downstairs had a great vibe, with an impressive selection of mezcal and tequila. Unfortunately, my alcohol tolerance is pretty low, so I couldn’t really enjoy tasting them, but it was still fun to see.
We started with oysters and chocolate clams, which were good and reminded us a lot of what we’ve had in Baja. The octopus leg, however, was the standout dish of the night. It was absolutely amazing and definitely the highlight of the meal.
Service was a bit slow, and we didn’t have one dedicated server, but overall it was still decent. For dessert, we ordered the flan. Even though it took quite a while to come out, it was incredibly delicious and totally worth the wait.
The restaurant is quite dark at night, making photos a bit challenging. I imagine it would look beautiful during the daytime. Overall, a great experience and definitely worth a visit in Mexico City.
I usually prefer sweeter cocktails. Based on the recommendation, the drink I tried was just okay not bad, but not particularly memorable. However, some of the appetizers stood out with a very interesting sweet-and-sour balance, which was quite unique. The main course was also well executed and enjoyable.
The octopus with chips, though decent, wasn’t especially impressive compared to the other dishes. I’d recommend exploring other items on the menu instead. Overall, a lovely place with a great ambiance and several strong dishes worth trying.
We started with shrimp and chocolata clams — both were good, but nothing extraordinary. The aguachile was also very tasty, though not particularly unique. The standout was definitely the fish, which was truly exceptional.
I’d recommend making a reservation.
Highly highly recommend this place. Lovely dishes, I recommend ordering two per person.
