⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️OKAY THIS WAS EASILY ONE of the BEST meals I’ve had in my life and that’s saying a lot considering my crew flew in from LA, SF, NY, and DC.
If you’re looking for Italian in Livingston, this is your spot!!! From the first bite to the last sip, everything was top, top notch, top notch.. the flavors were layered and soulful, the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh, and every dish felt very thoughtful and creative. It’s the kind of meal where you’re already planning what you’ll order next time before dessert even hits the table!! (And the dessert was unreal, I’m still dreaming about that cheesecake. My sister said it’s a meal you want to cry at it’s so good ). They were also incredibly accommodating to two of us who are gluten free – we didn’t miss out on anything.
The service and ambiance elevated it even further. Jeff, one of the owners, went above and beyond from the start, personally communicating with my mom ahead of our visit via email and helping us get in… and on valentines weekend on top of everything! Once he made it happen he made the experience even more special by checking up on us multiple times and taking a picture with us after
It’s rare to find a place that delivers on food, service, and atmosphere all at once, and I can’t recommend it enough. We’ll be talking about this meal for a long, long time. Livingston is lucky to have this gem!! Thank you so much! Extra shoutout also to our amazing therapist waiter Jess!!!!

Lovely service from the person who called to take my reservation and every touch point when we came for dinner. The anchovies and the mussels were delicious. The special that night was a carbonara, which was really really good with a delicious punch of umami. The orange olive oil cake was also excellent. If you were in Livingston, definitely seek this spot out.

Excellent service and food. Open kitchen is nice to watch as they cook. Not a large place so it can be a bit loud. Wine selection was very good, featuring wines you might not know. I highly recommend the white from Sicily as it is a great example of that region

My wife and I honeymooned in Italy last May. Today we were transported back to the tastes and flavors we had then. The meatballs were outstanding. The manicotti ate light, and the broth was fantastically flavorful while also being delicate and not overpowering. If you’re there on a Monday, get the carbonara special. It’ll blow your mind. Desserts were wonderful as well. The service was great, both professional and personal. Can’t say enough about Campione. We’ll be back again and again.

While visiting Livingston Montana we found this little treasure. It’s a cozy Italian restaurant with really delicious food. The restaurant does not have many tables and it gets really busy in the summer time. Larger groups are required to make reservations. We were lucky because it was off season and we walked in without any reservation. The menu does not have many options for food and drinks, but it’s adequate. Alcoholic beverages like wine and beer are served. There are also limited vegetarian options, and kids menu is not available. Since my kids pick off of adult menu we did not have any problems picking a dish. They serve local produce and meat. Every dinner dish which we had was full of flavor and it was beautifully prepared on a plate. I really enjoyed eating there. The service was really pleasant and attentive. The restaurant’s decor was casual and cozy. It was clean as well. If I have a chance I will definitely visit this restaurant again. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful meal! Came in for brunch and was expecting a long wait with no reservation from all the rave reviews, but was seated quickly.
The mushroom toast and brunch pizza were quite memorable.
The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and could point out what could be made vegetarian.
We also loved the music and the decor, including the Bourdain ‘vela’ in the corner. He clearly left his mark on Livingston.
Next time we’ll be coming back for dinner as that’s where a lot of the real stars of the menu seem to be.

We tried the Arborio rice and caper dolma, and the carrot mousse. The rice was pretty mediocre- not something I’d recommend if you’re vegetarian. If you’re here and looking for a safer option, I’d go with one of the pastas instead.
The carrot mousse, though, was the star! We couldn’t stop eating it and practically licked our plates clean, haha. I also had an Italian rosé recommended by our server, and it was so lovely.
My fiancé had made a reservation in advance, but they were able to seat us almost 15 minutes early, which was a nice surprise. The food is definitely on the pricier side, but the flavors are unique and thoughtfully done. Portion sizes are small, but since we weren’t too hungry, it worked out fine.
I had room for dessert, but my partner didn’t – so I was going to skip it. But the staff surprised us with a complimentary slice of their famous olive oil cake. I’d never tried one before, and I was blown away by how well the mascarpone and olive oil paired. A sweet ending to a lovely meal.

Reservations are suggested. We made reservations and were seated immediately. The view from our seat was of the beautiful downtown Livingston with the mountain views. We started with the Marinated White anchovies, totally awesome, Trippa alla Romana, and Panzanella even more awesome. We ordered the Manicotti with shredded oxtail, very flavorful, beautiful presentation, the bison ragu, large portion of deliciousness! The bread was fluffy and dressed with olive oil and herbs. For desert we tried the famous Torta all’Arancia. It was so delicious. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere is friendly and inviting. If you like genuine Italian dishes, try Campione!
