Camper is an incredible spot to grab a bite. The food that they serve is both comforting and exciting. Unique flavor combinations, but prepared in a way that feels like a family’s home cooked meal.
I came here to celebrate a special occasion with work colleagues, so I got to try a lot of different food, and I have to say, almost everything was fantastic. The only dishes I wasn’t fond of were more geared towards vegetarians. Either way, I’d highly recommend this place if you want to have something a bit more elevated for a special occasion.

Very, very happy camper here. I don’t usually write restaurant reviews, but my experience at Camper last night was so outstanding that I had to share. From start to finish, the service was impeccable—attentive without being overbearing. Every time Logan came over to our table we were laughing or being validated about how good our order was.
As for the food, every dish was a knockout. The crab spaghetti was fresh and perfectly balanced, the celery soup was surprisingly hearty and flavorful, and the squash agnolotti was unbelievably delicious. It’s rare to find a spot where the atmosphere, service, and kitchen are all performing at such a high level. Book yourself a table soon!

Good selection of whiskies to start the evening out sitting at the counter. We just walked in without a reservation but there were seats at the bar for us. Mixed drinks were creative also. The cornbread was individually cooked in a pan and had a nice crust to it. We also needed the comte tortellini which was interesting with celery and celery root in more of a broth than a traditional sauce. Mush less heavy. Also had the strip steak served with bok choy and potatoes. Steak was perfectly cooked and was plated very appitizingly.

It was our first time at this restaurant. We had French toast and duck confit (it was duck hash). My son said it was the best French toast he ever had. I agree. The duck confit was good too. Our server was very nice. We chatted about her “brunch philosophy”.
2025 Sept update: the food quality went downhill dramatically last couple times. We are not going there again.

Camper is one of those rare places where everything just feels right, the food, the atmosphere, the people. Each dish is made with intention and care, and it shows. It’s the kind of restaurant that makes you slow down, enjoy the moment, and feel genuinely nourished. I can’t believe it took me three years to discover it, but it already feels like a favorite for my whole family!

The service and the atmosphere were really good. The food unfortunately wasn’t. The burger was just okay, nothing special while you expect something for the price at such a place. The meat doneness level was not consistent across two burgers we ordered. The chips were just incredibly salty. My mouth was dry for the rest of the day and I almost felt like I had it burnt. The chips were salted fine in other places I’ve been to in California so it’s definitely not just my palate. The garlicky mayo sauce was good, the tomato sauce was not to my taste.
I don’t want to be back overall

For something different and a great evening, Check out Camper. The food was unusual but delicious, well prepared and presented. The service from 3 people we interacted with was friendly but not overbearing. We are definitely coming back to try some more of their options. The outdoor seating was really pleasant.

My experience at camper was okay. I think I was a bit underwhelmed since everything was just okay. The cornbread was done well and so was the halibut fillet, but it wasn’t super interesting so I’m not sure I would go back. I also thought the paper menus with random drink stains and wrinkles were a bit odd given the otherwise nice ambiance. Service was pretty decent though the food takes a bit to come out. Overall, well executed preparation but the food flavors were just average. They have a very cute apple dessert!

The food was so good here! We got the oysters (wow – some of the best I’ve had), the squid salad which was perfect and the potato crusted halibut. The staff was so friendly and attentive too. We were seated in the back room which wasn’t the best – try to get a seat in the main room where the ambiance is much better. Dessert (milk jam pudding) was just ok. I’m excited to go back in a few months!
