This small unincorporated community has passed its boon days several decades ago. But it doesn’t keep them from boasting about a small old diner/cafe that serves up pretty good home cooking. The business was rebranded & came into new ownership about five years ago — two local sisters running the place. Nothing real fancy about the place — much of what you see and touch is part of the original structure from the early 1900’s. Pretty robust menu — Friday & Saturday night is the Catfish Special. My wife enjoyed her hamburger steak platter with baked potato; my mom ordered the two piece fish dinner with hush puppies and coleslaw. I ordered the double cheeseburger (hand patted thick juicy meat). We all three loved our meals. Parking is casual with unmarked gravel lot. Hours vary per day so double check the schedule. We live in Maury County so part of excursion was getting out on the scenic winding backroads. We will make our way back here again real soon. BTW — the breakfast menu looks awesome too!

Very local spot but the servers treated us like we belonged there. The fish fry on Friday and Saturdays is superb. Had the chocolate cake for dessert which was absolute perfection. I will probably go again tonight for dinner.
The atmosphere is a well preserved historic setting where you can feel the generations of patrons in the air – this place is clearly a community staple.
Really enjoyed everything about this place and look forward to becoming a regular.

This is a local favorite diamond in the rough. Although it’s not an upscale restaurant, the quality of the food and friendliness of the staff make up for it. The ribeye steak is tender and very delicious. The fried catfish is just like grandma used to make. Yummy!!! We took some friends there for their first visit and they said they can’t wait to go back.
