Great food, other than the red sauce which is pretty plain in my opinion, but Alfredo is amazing, pizza is killer, pretty nice atmosphere. Some of the wait staff should retire as they’ve been there so long they seem to no longer enjoy their job and take away from the overall enjoyable experience. Cooks are great and work hard and seem to be happy while working and younger wait staff are great. All in all highly recommend, just don’t be in a hurry as good freshly made food can take time but the reward will come when you eat your meal

The only reason why I’m giving one star is because I have to in order to write about how horrible this restaurant is. Is it just me or does this place have a surplus of garlic? Each meal that I had, not only was it tiny, but it was packed full of way too much garlic…. mind you, this is coming from someone who loves garlic! The server look like a meth addict and took forever. They took so long bringing us our food, that we asked to just box it up to go. When we asked for bread sticks we only got 2 burnt bread sticks. I ordered the calamari and there was only about maybe a handful of pieces in there…this place sucks do not go here you will leave hungry and disappointed

I’ve been going to Campana’s on and off from as far back as the mid 1970’s when it was in downtown Bremerton and have learned to put up with the poor service that has surfaced in the the last 8 years or so. The food is always good but now, I have to say, I’m done with this and am so disappointed that their service totally takes away from the food. My wife and I went in about 6pm on Friday and were pleasently greeted and seated by a very young man. We then sat for approximately 10 minutes before the dark haired waitress that also tends the bar swung by. She dropped off the menus and we ordered a Coke and a Coors Light. After another long wait she brought me a Miller light and completely forgot my wifes coke. We then had to wait for almost 20 minutes before she came back for our order (basic pizza). Meanwhile, one of the other waitress’s who has been there for years had visited the gentleman behind us 3 times spending considerable time badmouthing an complaining about a different table of customers. After a total of well over an hour our waitress came back to see how we were doing. My wifes coke (which she finally dropped off), my beer and the breadsticks were long gone. I asked her what the status of our food was and she went to check. She eventually came back and said another 5 minutes. I told her to box it up. We then sat for another 15 minutes waiting before she literally threw the boxed pizza on the table. She has waited on us over the years a number of times and has never been good but this time she was horrible. In the time that we waited for our pizza, a couple sat down behind my wife, had drinks, ordered their meal, ate their meal & left after paying their bill. The table was cleaned and another couple had been seated and ordered drinks. Needless to say, they had a different waitress than what we had and nor did they have the “complainer”. We won’t be back and it’s sad to see just what has become of what use to be a great place to go to.

We had dinner there for the first time, last night. Just walking in it smelled incredible. It’s decor is fun/whimsical. The breadsticks arrived warm artisian style, garlicky, with parmesan. I tried the lasagna and Bolognese which were to die for. Our friends ordered the lasagna, and chicken carbonara. Very sad that they are closing after 37 years. This would be my “go to” place. Highly recommended!!!❤

If you think this food is good then eat it. I ,however, won’t and believe that people that think this place is excellent have the cultural knowledge and sense of taste of toads. The French have always said there is no replacement for lack of taste. When you need no reservation and the place is empty there is your sign.

We drove 25 white-knuckle miles in miserable rainy weather to try this place last night. I mean it when I say this little Italian joint is at the top of the list of any I have tried. From the soft chewy bread sticks to the carbonera and bolognese (sp?) and blackberry cobbler drenched in creamy melting ice cream, we were in culinary heaven! The warm and genuine service was just as good!

I have read a couple of less than complimentary reviews here and can’t believe they’re talking about the same restaurant. Maybe those folks just had a bad day all around.

If you’re in the Poulsbo area with a hankerin’ for Italian, I highly recommend you try out Campana’s!

The worst service I have had in a restaurant in many years. My wife and I have been going to this place since the early 80’s and will never go there again. Told bread sticks were on the way to our table, 20 minutes later no one even bothered to ask if we wanted a drink or wanted to order, should have walked out because it went down hill from there. Never again……….

It was great despite my friend’s 2 children messing around especially after “they” have finished eating; just want to go see a movie?! Bread was wonderful and plentiful.

We arrived early for dinner on a Monday and they were already out of Italian sausage. It had a rather gloomy atmosphere and sadly none of the staff broke a smile.
