Love coming to camino, food is reliable and always hot and fresh, almost all of the servers are so friendly and go the extra mile, and the outdoor seating area is nice i definatley frequent

I never write bad reviews and I have eaten at Camino on memorial several times. I love their food but today we ordered lunch at this location because it was close to our medical facility and we were busy and I bragged about how great it was.
When we called in our order to be DoorDash, DoorDash was literally at our door not even 15 minutes later we were pretty impressed until we got our food. The steak and the chimichanga was harder than beef jerky and cold and old there was no chicken in the chimney Chunga. It was all vegetables. The tortillas felt old. I feel as if that food that we got have been sitting in the kitchen for a long time or maybe was another order that cancelled. It was not edible. I called and asked to speak to a manager. I spoke to the manager and he told me it was up to DoorDash to issue a refund. I did tell him that DoorDash came to us in a timely manner the issue was from the kitchen it being old and dried out meat there’s no way they prepared that fresh when DoorDash was to us that quickly and there’s no way that that food got that hard and that cold in the 10 minute drive over to our clinic. The manager was not interested in making good on it. He told me to call DoorDash when I asked him if there was anything he could do. He said there wasn’t and that if I was in the restaurant it would’ve been fresh. I just feel like as a customer, they could’ve cared less today about the food they served us or making it right and that has not been my experience at any of the other Caminos.

This wasn’t my second visit to this location, but it was the second time I’ve had a seating issue with the same older hostess at the door. My party of four was told there would be a 10–15 minute wait, which we were fine with. However, after nearly 30 minutes, we watched multiple groups who arrived before and after us get seated —including a couple that was given a booth for four.
We also noticed a younger host preparing a booth for 4 with menus and utensils but no guests. When I asked if that table was for us (since we were the only ones still waiting), the hostess asked the older hostess and said it was for a party that belongs to a large party located on their end of the restaurant that hadn’t arrived yet, and they have only two waiting tables, even though most restaurants don’t seat incomplete parties. A few seconds later, she finally seated us, but it was done with clear frustration and dismissive body language, which made the experience uncomfortable. This included taking the placed menus at the booth with no guest and brought us to a booth for 6. The time we were there eating, we saw no guest that belong to that large party.
To be fair, our waitress was fantastic- friendly, efficient, and attentive. The problem isn’t with the servers; it’s the repeated lack of organization and courtesy at the front door. First impressions matter, and this hostess consistently fails to create a welcoming one. Because of that, I’m hesitant to return to this location.

I absolutely loved this place! The atmosphere was great and there was a beautiful mural on all of the walls that reached deep into the heritage. The decor was upscale. The restaurant was well maintained and the bathrooms were spotless! I was really impressed with the upkeep of the place. This was by far the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. The food was top notch and you get a lot for your $$. The Staff was friendly as well. I will have to place this on my top 10 restaurant to try out. I don’t think you will be disappointed.

This location has by far the best food and service of all the Mexican restaurants in Middleton Tennessee. The food is always fresh the food is always hot. It’s always correct there is never a bad meal or a bad server. This is a top-notch location and you’ll be remiss if you don’t visit this spot.

Camino is our go-to Mexican restaurant. We love the salsa. It is truly addicting, especially when paired with their warm crispy chips. Good portions. I ordered chicken fajitas and there was a good portion of chicken, perfectly seasoned and paired with bell peppers and onions. I love that they include guacamole, and the sides of rice, beans, sour cream, lettuce, and pico. We left full and satisfied. However, the only reason I’d give them 4 stars is because the service on our most recent visit was not good. Our server was very rude. Rushing around, interrupting, forgetting to bring items, and overall not providing good service. Food was so good though, it was worth it.

The peach margarita was super strong. I’m not a huge drinker so it was almost impossible for me to drink. Ordered the margarita frozen and it was very liquidity, hardly cold at all.
Our waiter did disappear on us for a while. We sat on the patio and only saw him when we got our order and brought it out. We had to wait a while to track him down for the check.

This restaurant is in violation of the Durbin amendment. They are charging a surcharge for debit card purchases thats against federal law and its theft. If you’ve been charged these fees take pictures of your receipt and the menu then google how to turn them in. When I told them they were in violation of this law they said sue us. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PLACES what they’re doing is stealing money.
