Camin Thai cuisine – ขมิ้นไทย Camin is how to pronounce the word turmeric in Thai language. We intend to serve Thai food in our own taste and style. We take into the freshness of the ingredients and the consistency of the taste in every dish. Our Chef Sinthu has gathered all his experience for more than 5 years in Alaska and New York before we came here and created this restaurant and intend to create every dish in every menu. My girlfriend ordered the pad Thai and said the flavor was a bit bland and the portion size was below average compared to other restaurants.
The rice portion is also very small. Feels like they’re being cheap on everything.
Lastly, the order took 40 minutes to prepare at 1:15 pm (the restaurant wasn’t busy).
Edamame was ok, but overall very disappointed. Will not be coming back.
Service was friendly, they are knowledgeable, and made great recommendations.
Ambiance: Restaurant is spacious with lots of seating.
Value: Prices were reasonable for the quality of food and service. Lunch specials are for 12 dollars with included appetizer and main dish.
The place itself was super spacious and cute. The staff were so nice and helpful. The food came out fairly quickly.
We absolutely loved the flavor of the Thai fried rice, yellow curry, Thai iced green tea which is something new I tried and I loved it, and we got to try a unique pandan cupcake with coconut cream. I highly recommend this place!
They used paper to-go containers which is much healthier.
The fried dumplings were very unique and had a very unique sauce which I enjoyed a lot. To me they tasted like they were very homemade as compared to the sort of store-bought Frozen type dumplings.
I had a pick up order and the man who helped me was very friendly and engaging, giving very good service. I definitely plan on getting food from here many times in the future.
I’ll admit of course the outside doesn’t look spectacular, but don’t be fooled by appearances.
The Hainan chicken rice was somewhat bland, while the curry laksa noodle was way overseasoned.
Service was okay, and for the atmosphere was nothing special
