We’ve been to Camilo’s twice now and I can say it’s been a great experience each time! The food has been delicious, I got the Tacos Mi Pueblo with steak and then the Brisket Tacos. Both were excellent serving size and taste. The queso is a must have for my kids and the drinks have been tasty as well. The whole restaurant works like a team and we’ve personally received great service with prompt refills and requests filled quickly. For atmosphere I think it should be noted that the decorations are minimalist and very cool. Also the music both times we’ve come has been a reasonable level and we don’t have to yell over it to have a conversation, something I’ve increasingly come to appreciate at restaurants.

Absolutely loved the food! The quantity and pricing are spot on, and getting four different dips with the tortilla chips was such a nice touch. Everything tasted freshly made, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. A new spot that’s definitely worth visiting.

Just tried the new Mexican restaurant in town with my mom and we were so impressed! Even with a packed house, the staff was friendly, attentive, and kept things running smoothly. We both had the enchiladas and they were absolutely delicious—flavorful, fresh, and perfectly cooked. It’s not easy to deliver great service and great food when you’re busy, but they nailed it. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend giving them a try.

Everything about this restaurant is fantastic – the food is fresh and very flavorful, the margaritas are on point and the staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Definitely a hidden gem in Gunter, highly recommend!

Everything was great! Food and service. I had the beef fajita tacos and my husband had the chile relleno, which was excellent and a bit spicy! This place will make it for sure.

Food is amazing. Staff is even better. My daughter and I went in to eat today. Unfortunately were seated next to a table of immature young men. I asked to be reseated due to their immaturity and not wanting my daughter (8) to see that it is appropriate to behave in such a manner!

It’s our small town treasure! Camilo’s is amazing food, great staff, nice ambiance- and fast. We’ve ordered all over the menu and have loved it all! We also order the chips and red salsa by the truckload. We couldn’t recommend a meal here more!

Today was our first day to dine at Camilo’s, and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious (I had veggie fajitas and hubs had shrimp enchiladas) and the atmosphere is divine. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. We will definitely come again!
