I’ve dined here three times now and have been consistently happy with the food! The food is always fresh, authentic, and flavorful. The portion sizes often leave room for leftovers! The service is always kind and attentive. The best is when you ask for some hot sauce it is pulled right out of the apron! Kind of like a magic trick. i’m always recommending Camila to friends.

Loved the authentic Mexican cuisine here. Ordered Enchiladas with Salsa Roja and Chicken Alambre. Chicken Alambre comes with a side of 5 tortillas.
The food is tasty and flavorful. The restaurant is small but clean. The servers are polite.
The price point is okayish.

Edit #2 Jan 14 – third visit. I wanted to post the story behind this establishment as I think it’s an inspirational story. From a kiss they have built something beautiful and it really resounded with me the first time we came and this is the third visit.
My son ordered the beef torta sandwich which was done to perfection. Sorry there wasn’t a photo of this one but perhaps the next time we visit.
The staff are so amazing and always such a welcoming environment. Thanks again everyone!
Edit #1- just came back to try the chimichangas “wet” and they didn’t disappoint! My kids tried the fish tacos and chicken enchiladas which they enjoyed a lot. Still highly recommend this spot! Thanks for a great experience again!
Everyone you have to come support this place. I love family-owned restaurants and this is a great example. We walk right in and the staff were helpful letting us know what would be good to try for our first time visiting.
we ordered the chimichanga and a quesadilla, both with beef. The food came out extremely quickly and was very fresh.
Though I think the chimichanga could use more sauce on the top, which is how I remember authentic chimichangas to be, I have a feeling that this is more of a regional preference so I will not deduct any points for that. The vegetables and toppings they put in were fresh and tasty.
As you can see in my other reviews, I keep on forgetting to take a photo of the food as it’s come in. You will all get eaten food from me and I don’t think I will push to make that change .
Last minute my kids wanted to eat the churros which were fresh and so tasty.
My kids think the staff are very nice and friendly.
100% we are coming back, I suggest you all do the same!

The baja tacos taste profile was weak. Way too sweet without any spice or acid to cut it.
Al pastor chicken was also decent but lack an extra topping.
Churro was a bit dense but good.

Absolutely enjoyed it allll we got : carne asada, quesabirrias and al pastor, and so glad they didn’t serve mini tacos like ever place you actually get 3 TACOS!! But the churros, that reminded me of back home, crispy edges, hot centre, with a perfect mixture of sugar and cinnamon!! Absolutely delicious I’d recommend to try it out! Will be back to try the rest of the menu

Delicious, authentic Mexican food. My wife and I make the drive from Stoney Creek mountain just for this place. Very fresh and great tasting. Staff is super friendly.

Very nice place friendly staff quick service.. my only complaints was I found the meat a bit dry for my liking…but I also showed up 30 min before close so that may have impacted the quality also thay are a bit pricey in terms of taco places I would still recommend they are worth a try

The chicken cochinita chimis is not good. A really odd flavour and soggy. The rice is also pink? Not sure why that is but it smells, looks and tastes bad. Do not recommend.

We tried Camilla for the first time and we were satisfied, except for what I ordered. I got the chorizo and potato which I’ve had that many different Mexican restaurants before and has always been really tasty. The pile of mashed up potatoes and undercooked sausage was not a sight to be hold. Note Michelin star campenchano downtown has this and the potatoes are roasted crispy and the chorizo is actually cooked. Super disappointed because chorizo is my favourite taco.

We have been here twice and both times very good. Service was friendly and fast. Cute little restaurant with Mexican decorations. Place is clean. We had quesabirrias both times and still good on both experience. Very tasty, lots of meats and very well seasoned. Broth for dipping was also very good. First time we also had Alpastor. We really liked it too, well seasoned and I like the pineapple chunks that give you a fresh taste to the dishes. Rice also good very well seasoned. Second time we had enchiladas with house seasoning. Lots of meat and we love the sauce. It got a bit of sour from lime. We will be back to taste different menu. Really recommend this place.
