The food here was excellent and they give you plenty. The burgers are huge a ton of fries I couldn’t eat them all ..soo stuffed. You should visit here the staff is so friendly the food is amazing prices aren’t bad for the times we’re in either!..loved it I’ll definitely be back!!

We stopped here while staying in Biglerville, visiting the Gettysburg NP. We were looking to get out of the downtown Gettysburg area for a dinner and find something a bit cheaper. This restaurant popped up and we decided to give it a try. The service was very friendly and prompt and we felt right at home despite this probably being more of a local’s restaurant. The interior is a little sterile and feels more like a breakfast joint. The food was good for the prices, however I could tell that some of it was not fresh and was pre-packaged/frozen. I will say though, for the prices the portions were fantastic and you will definitely not leave here hungry. It’s not anyone’s idea of gourmet food but if you’re looking for a quick, filling meal, this might be a good place to try.

Sad to say since our original post 8 months ago, both food quality and service have fallen. Hopefully things will pick up again now that things are returning somewhat to normal.
This is a hidden treasure. I’ve lived in the area for years, and have watched the Cameo transform thru many owners over that time. I’m pleased to say that it is now a place that should be showcased on Drivers, Drive-ins and Dives. The specials are fabulous and unexpected for such a small place. Olga and Perry have a wonderful establishment. The wait staff is always on-cue, the prices reasonable, and the fare fresh and well crafted. Strongly recommend stopping by for dinner – and don’t forget to have dessert!

The grilled cheese was the best grilled cheese I ever had. The fries were pretty good. lemonade was good. The pantings on the wall were cool. The Vanilla milkshake was delicious.

If you want the best soft ice cream around go to Cameo! I used to ride my bike there when I was a kid and the ice cream is the same wonderful flavor! I like the cheeseburgers too but they have a nice menu for dinners too. A locally owned and operated family restaurant with a nice country atmosphere and location!
