My friends and I were in the area for something else and came across Cambodian Noodle King on Google Maps. Their high rating was very inviting – and it wasn’t a lie! I don’t usually trust places with chicken balls on the menu but I’m so glad we gave this place a chance.
As a party of 6 on a Saturday at 8pm, they were able to easily accommodate us. Parking is also very easy to find.
The menu is very extensive and can easily be overwhelming, with over 100 items. However the staff are very helpful in describing what each item is, recommending what’s most popular and what they personally like. We never had Cambodian cuisine before, so we took their recommendations and they were bang-on! It was my first time having Cambodian-style pho – the soup base is garlic based rather than bone broth based, which honestly I think I prefer more! The wings were also crispy (not much special flavour) and beef skewers were very lemongrass-tasting, which was refreshing. Their prices are also not bad at all. If I was in the area, I would definitely come back.

Been there a few times.. my go to when I’m in Newmarket..
Love their Sate Beef Rice Noodle soup and would easily recommend that to others. It has a nice flavour profile and I really enjoy the amount of veggies and meat they put in making each mouthful a treat.
During my last visit I got their Cantonese Chow Mein with beef and found myself regretting that I didn’t get the noodle soup again. The Cantonese Chow Mein was ‘okay’.. good enough to finish but needs the rooster hot sauce for a kick.
Their chicken wing appetizer is good and I enjoyed the pickled carrots and pickles with it.
Staff is always warm and friendly.
Would go back and would recommend.

This restaurant is a hole in the wall. Very tasty food. You can taste the Wok hei, intense smokey flavors in your noodles. Bang for your money. This place is my favorite during the winter, I love the hot soup bowls, makes me feel at home.

Fantastic Cambodian food! The beef satay is a must-try — so tender and full of flavor. The noodles and spring rolls were just as delicious. Great portions and excellent customer service. The staff is friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

The quiet atmosphere paired well with the Cambodian coffee with condensed milk. The friendly staff were so attentive.
The fresh veggies and perfectly cooked springrolls prepared my friend and I for a culinary journey of the likes we have never experienced.
The veggie and tofu pho held flavours that I still can’t identify hours later. It felt like the kind of flavour and spice combo that was smuggled across international borders.
