Today was my most recent visit but I have been plenty of times before and it’s always consistent. Whether I’m just window shopping and looking for gifts AND grabbing a croissant from the French bakery, haha!… Or just grabbing a croissant. Never disappoints.
There’s seating right past the bakery, coffee and ice cream. There’s seating upstairs amongst the art. A few picnic tables and a grassy area behind the Commons. They do hold fairs, community events like live music, other fun activities and vendor tents on the grassy area!
The baked Cafe is nice too, but I’m mostly drawn in for the French bakery. Another plus is that they have a restroom. It does seem like there’s plenty of parking, but the parking in front fills up pretty fast sometimes, however, there really is parking all around.
There’s also a library next door. Another nice another nice restaurant or bar and some local businesses. Out front you will see a sub shop stand.
***There is also a new feature!!!*** Some vendors who sell indoors have a produce stand of sorts set up. It’s only been there a month or two. If you can check it out before the weather gets too cold, you will be pleasantly surprised! They have so many top-notch items. It’s obvious that they take great care for what they grow. I was so excited not only to try some of what they offered but to be able to support some community members. Or salad mix was delicious and I wish them all the best!!!

My wife and I look forward to visiting the commons every time we come to town! The bakery is amazing, and the croissants are my absolute favorite. The workers are kind and efficient, as lines can get a bit long on weekend mornings. Their coffee is not our favorite, but it’s definitely the best on the island without having to drive in to Stanwood. In the summer we enjoy the outdoor seating and ice cream counter as well! We have tried the bake cafe and tap room for lunches / dinner which was spectacular! Great options all in one spot.

The Crème brûlée is the most creamy Ive ever had in my life. The coffee was much better the next time I went in. The focaccia pizza is crazy good!! The chocolates are delicious but a little pricey. Fresh bread, gifts, coffee, bakery, lunch café…they have it all. Go check them out

What a wonderful surprise there is a small business that makes hamburgers, a bakery and a chocolate shop plus lots of local items to purchase and then you can take it outside and enjoy it in the courtyard

The best brownie ever! I just picked yo some coffee and brownie and instantly regretted not taking a couple of more for my road trip. Husband and I gobbled it up in seconds. Super yum and went really well with their gourmet drip ❤️

4 of us stopped by this local hangout when we were on Camano Island looking at a cabin for sale. It was late May and a little misty, a good day for coffee.
This place is newer and impressive. It’s all ‘farmhouse’ design on the inside with a bakery, with a small gift area, ice cream, and with a small breakfast and burger place. It’s divided into those separate areas inside with a neat loft above. It has a GREAT vibe and is the place the locals seem to hangout.
We had bakery items and coffee. The selection and homemade quality was fantastic with good prices. Don’t let a longer line worry you, the staff here works fast. Bathrooms were very clean and parking was easy.
This place is part of a greater ‘Commons’ complex that has a lot going and would be a great handout in the spring and summer.
5 stars all the way, if I lived within 15 minutes of this place, I’d be here a lot.

They offer great variety of coffee, Lopez Island ice cream, cookies and baked goods. The marketplace has unique interior designs, you can’t experience it from outside the building. So, come and visit and experience the excitement of the place can offer. They sell great souvenirs locally made. Mask required. Health and safety protocol are in place.

Thanks to Bakery staff for explaining things, as I tend to be easily overwhelmed. Love at first sight at all homemade goodness, especially raspberry scones & hearty sourdough (ask for specials at counter). Bagel popups in lobby too. The sourdough, btw, is hearty & deeply flavorful with the right amount of natural sour. Is all you need.
Nice welcome to Camano Island. ♥️
Visiting from Twin Falls… ️
