Simple Vietnamese restaurant serving a variety of meat & vegetable dishes, including lunch specials.

Comfortable seating, friendly service and reasonable prices. Orders arrive shortly after placed. We always enjoyed Crispy cream cheese wonton (not in the pic). Spring roll with pork and shrimp with hoisin sauce/diced peanuts. Mild flavor Tender chicken and crisp broccoli in white sauce, flavorful beef lo-mein with fresh crunchy vegetables, traditional Vietnamese spicy sour soup with tofu, basil, taro stem, bean sprouts.etc… there’s TV offer for entertainment.

Really disappointed. Slow service, food tasted old, and the cream cheese was cold and hard. After waiting 20 minutes, the server’s only solution was “Do you want me to reheat it?” Definitely not a good experience.

I come here all the time and still do here and there… This place use to be soooo good! But it has gone down hill significantly. I usually get chow fun here but it taste so off lately (Wet or dry) They put more veggies than meat & noodles.
They also charge the same price for a veggie option than with chicken. Service used to be good as well..
I’ve tried many things here. Sesame chicken is definitely a no go. And they add lettuce.. Fried rice taste off. Lunch specials are decent. Hot n spicy entree is good but a little sweet.

Better than average quality around here. Love the beef over rice noodles (Vietnamese noodle salad) and Vietnamese style egg rolls. The pho is pretty good too. I like the hot and spicy pork but it’s TOO SWEET! Also it’s not spicy at all, just ridiculously sweet. It tastes very good and I’m sure lots of people like how sweet it is but I think it should be half as sweet and three times the spice level.

One thing I always do before hitting up unknow restaurant is to see the reviews left by others. I would follow the reviews left by the appropriate ethnicity based on type of food.
Cam Ranh Bay Restaurant is located in Burnsville off of County Road 42. The majority of the reviews were left by non Asian. Most restaurants are catered to the neighborhood they are in.
We decided to give it a try as we were in the area and to our surprise, the food was pretty amazing.
Eggrolls and Spring rolls were on point.
Pho and rice pan cakes were amazing.
Staff were friendly and very attentive.

Always great service and fantastic fresh food! The lunch specials are an incredible deal and the normal entrées are very large! I’m a big guy and never left wanting more. Lots of seating inside so it’s very rare to wait even if the parking lot is full.

Family-owned and operated Cam Ranh Bay has been a favorite of my family for years. Nestled in the middle of a Burnsville strip mall just off County Road 42, the unpretentious eatery promises friendly service and taste-bud exciting flavors at fair prices. While the dining room is not fancy, it’s comfortable and very clean.
Please do yourself a favor and treat yourself to some of the best egg rolls in the Twin Cities. (I confess, I’ve visited just for the egg rolls, they’re that good. We didn’t get a picture of them because they were being gobbled up.) They’re fried to perfection, bursting with flavor, stuffed full of pork and vegetables, augmented with fish sauce for dipping.
My personal favorite dish is the “Hot & Spicy Chicken”. Don’t be scared off by the name — it’s neither hot nor spicy. It is, however, a symphony of flavor with a sauce that is unique — it’s like a cross between eel and thai peanut sauces. My son devoured his orange chicken and my wife loved the subtlety of her beef and noodle dish. The menu is extensive, covering many Asian cuisines. You’re sure to find something you like.

This is one of the tastiest Vietnamese restaurants I’ve tried in the area. I ordered spring rolls, Pho, and fried rice with chicken and veggies; everything was delicious and portions are vast. I had leftovers for a day or two. The lady server was very attentive and welcoming. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean. Lots of parking. Highly recommend!

I think my favorite part of the experience was our server Donna. She was gracious, helped us order the right things, and made sure our food didn’t have anything we couldn’t eat. We got the chicken lo mein, the chicken curry, the mock duck curry, the regular chicken wings, the spicy chicken wings, and the beef pho. Good food overall.
