I visited this restaurant yesterday and was blown away. The food was amazing — the authentic red sauce was rich and flavorful. You can taste the quality in every bite.

The owner is incredibly welcoming and makes you feel at home right away. There’s great attention to detail in everything, and the wine paired perfectly with the meal. The atmosphere is warm and inviting — definitely a place I can’t wait to return to!

Ordered to go on their web site. Great ingredients to choose from. This has been here for 4 years. Decent out door space with high tops. The bar is okay. Seats are the most comfortable. Pizza was delicious. Thanks for your service.

We had an excellent pizza here! Tiramisu was good too. Service was friendly and attentive. Small little cozy place and family owned. Go support!

If you’re looking for something that’s not your average chain pizza, Calusa Pizza is the way to go. The sauce is smooth and flavorful—never too harsh—and the crust has its own unique character that sets it apart. Toppings are fresh and generous, and the sides? Huge portions, definitely made for sharing. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, and you can even enjoy a glass of wine with your meal. Beyond the pizza, their menu is packed with classic Italian dishes, so there’s something for everyone. Definitely a local gem worth checking out.

I recently stopped in for the first time and ordered two gyro meals to go — one with fries and one with a side salad. The staff was very friendly, and I appreciated being able to sit at the bar while I waited. I was picking up lunch to bring to a nearby nursing home while visiting my father, so I was hoping for a solid, dependable meal.

Unfortunately, the food itself was underwhelming. The gyro had a very small portion of meat (roughly a few ounces), and there was no noticeable tzatziki sauce, which is typically a standard component. The overall build felt minimal and didn’t meet what I’d consider a basic gyro standard.

The fries were soggy rather than crisp, and the Caesar dressing on the salad tasted unusually sweet instead of having the traditional salty, garlicky profile.

At $36 for two to-go lunches, I expected a bit more in terms of portion and execution. I’m genuinely surprised by the high ratings, though it may be that their pizza and Italian dishes are where they truly shine.

The service was kind and welcoming, but based on this first experience, I wouldn’t order the gyros again

This place uses excellent ingredients and the dough is absolutely delicious. It has real potential. Just the way they mix their ingredients on top of the pizza isn’t good. Worst Margarita pizza I’ve ever had, drowning in red sauce, but my husband’s buffalo chicken pizza was really good. Also, Mediterranean pizza was terrible. Crust good, ingredients looked good but tasted like I was licking a block of salt. It almost feels like they don’t taste their pizza after they make it and they only taste the Individual ingredients….

We were traveling and wanted pizza. Tried Calusa Pizza. Excellent! The bread is great. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. And the rolls are soooo good! And the wait staff was so nice. Highly recommend

Good ingredients but badly made pizza. Some pizzas taste like they dumped a gallon of salt on them and the margarita is disgusting. It tasted like a pizza from a little league field concession stand. Soooooo much tomato sauce!!! The pizza looks like a damn lake full of red sauce with the crust the only thing that keeps that red goop from overflowing on to the plate. THAT IS NOT A MARGARITA PIZZA WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM???!!!! Change it. Its embarrassing.

If you’re looking for an authentic Italian experience, Calusa is a fantastic choice. I came with my husband and we ordered the Greek pasta and the tortellini a la Rosa and we love it!!!!

The service was impeccable, with attentive and knowledgeable staff. The prices are reasonable considering the quality of the ingredients and the overall experience.

I took my mom (who is 100% Italian) here for lunch. She is very hard to please …I told her she would not be dissapointed and she enjoyed every bite, she kept asking me why it was so empty during lunch as the food is amazing. They make everything to order – fresh garlic knots (which were included with your order…buttery/crispy and delicious) the sauce is homemade and tastes delicious. The pizza dough is also homemade… nothing in this restaurant is boxed and you can taste the love and time taken in everything on the menu our server Nicole was attentive and pleasant- so if you are looking for a delicious pizza place this is it….they have so much more on the menu I wish I could have tried it all, the portions are huge and worth every penny.
