We stopped by here for a quick breakfast. The place appears to be a local diner with some traditional breakfast items. Our host/server was friendly and kind to us. We ordered a chicken fried steak and biscuits and gravy. It’s hard to go wrong with the breakfast items. We finished and paid up front.

Family restaurant with good ole country food. Went for breakfast, country-style. It was so good we went back the next morning. Only had breakfast, twice, but it looks like you can get lunch and dinner as well. Friendly people, fast service, delicious food. The perfect place for family and friends!

Excellent breakfast! If you follow us you know we travel the country. One of my favorite breakfasts is a breakfast Burrito and I find it hard to find in certain areas. This was the absolute best restaurant I have experienced in a long time. Simple, homecooked meal in a delightful country cafe. . . priceless. Service was quick, meal was perfectly cooked, portion size large for the price. Many locals eating breakfast at same time, assured us we made the right choice by stopping here. While we were eating, several beautiful pies were placed under glass pie plates, making us wish we could stay for lunch as well. But we left with full tummies and a promise we would return next time we travel thru this beautiful area of Kentucky.

I got the special the day I went which was similar to KFC chicken bowl. It was very small, 3 little pieces of chicken, tasted mediocre. The place was busy but not bad enough that they couldn’t have asked if we wanted refills or to see how our meals was. We sat in the back and some lady was swatting flies while we were trying to eat, yuck. Unhospitable, food wasn’t worth what we paid. Maybe keep up with customers better, offering drink refills, checking to make sure everything is OK. At least fill the plates up, especially at some of those prices! I didn’t enjoy it, but, that’s just my opinion and how I felt. First and last visit.

Staff is very friendly. Good selection on menu. We searched Yelp for breakfast selections. They had exactly what my wife was craving. She was extatic with her meal( The Western Omelet). Mine was very good also. We will return.

First the servers are very friendly. When it gets busy it can be difficult to get coffee refills. The food is good but the grits and oatmeal are the instant variety. At a restaurant I like made from scratch oatmeal and grits. I can do instant at home. All in all a nice restaurant with friendly staff.

I ordered the western omelet and 95 percent were eggs very few ingredients to be found. My wife had biscuits and gravy with bacon. She gave it a thumbs up.
