I went here today after work to check out the menu. It’s a smaller location and you do have to pay in cash. There is an atm inside if you forget to bring cash with you. It smelled great when I first walked in, which made me excited to try the food I called in for pickup. I wasn’t disappointed. The customer service was good and the price was great for what I ordered. My favorite item was the Polish Chicago w/ fries. The fries and rib tips were good, we ordered a large with the links. The links were a bit over cooked, but still good. The chicken wings were good as well and had a good lemon pepper flavor. Definitely a spot I’d come back to for lunch or even dinner.

Searching for a place to eat outside the norm, I came across this listing on Google.
I read some of the reviews, all mostly positive, and decided to chance it. I am very glad I did!
It boast being a taste of Chicago, can’t say I have been enough to know, however the chicken is slightly reminiscent of Harold’s. Not in flavor or anything, but something about it. I have only have the lemon pepper flavor, as the other two don’t call to me, lol, and it IS GOOD! Comes with fresh potatoes fries, real potatoes, on the thicke cut side. I prefer crunch to mine but they are bad without it.
This last visit I added a piece of the fried catfish to my order and it was really good! Crunchy and well seasoned, didn’t even need tartar sauce.
One of the goes might try the gyro, or a steak burger.
Added notes, they are cash only, not a big deal, but not very convenient. Maybe it’s why the prices are nice.
It’s best to call your order in, I’ve ordered ahead and in person, 15-20 seems to be the standard waiting period, the little lobby has only two chairs, so it would be good just to order ahead.
If you in or around St. Roberts, definitely stop in, it’s worth a try.

Great small local food understandable waiting time delicious food 9.8/10 if you have a big family greater then 4 since it’s small not really a dine in place and no bathroom overall great experience would recommend.

Riding down hwy 44 in Missouri ( St.Roberts) looking for one of my faves chicken wings, consult the Google Copter and run across Callies Finger Foods. I placed the call and the gentleman who answered was polite and answered my question to a T, placed my order and went to pick up what happens next is insane I get my food bite into my wings and Chicago polish and not spicy but delicious. Turns out this place is one of those hidden gems and black owned with a recipe out of this world. I will be back frequently through my travels and spreading the good word of perfectly cooked food, I seen ribs on the menu that looked and much more. All in All 5 stars from me

I can’t wait until we are in St. Robert again so we can stop by. Customer service was amazing. The gentleman working was so nice and very friendly. E actually tried going back but they were closed on Saturday.

Ok, First, off I was told of this place and I had to try it. I’m so glad I did!! Their wings are juicy, seasoned, and fried to perfection. I ordered a Chicago style polish dog, (let me just add I hate hot dogs) I enjoyed every bite. Mouth organism at its finest customer service was very friendly. It took about 15-20 min just like the guy said it would. Thanks Callies for my Chicago food experience!!! I’ll definitely order again.
