Stopped in tonight for half price burger night. I was not disappointed.I had the BBQ burger and it was delicious..Very generous burger and perfect toppings. Also came with a side of fries which were delicious as well..The sweet iced tea was just right and a perfect compliment to a most enjoyable meal. Our server was Katelynn and she was above excellent. Definitely worth the trip and look forward to another visit.

I captured a wedding at Callie Opie’s Orchard in September and really enjoyed the venue. There were neat aspects like LOVE painted in red on the side of the barn. That’s one of my favorite pictures from there! There was a pond with a fountain behind the ceremony area which added to the beautiful scenery and there were so many great spots for photos. The venue staff was friendly and helpful, too!

We came here with high expectations based on reviews and what we heard around Lake Anna. It was quite disappointing. We started with the equivalent of bang bang shrimp, which was decent but poorly presented. I then ordered a rack for ribs, which were overcooked and very dry, although with a decent flavor. My wife had a salad that looks like one you’d pour out of a bag you bought at the grocery store. My daughter had spaghetti marinara that she wouldn’t eat because the noodles were too mushy (overcooked) and the sauce tasted “weird” (I couldn’t get any more on that).
The restaurant itself was lovely and the service was good. Unfortunately, as one of the highest rated restaurants in the area, this just didn’t live up to what we had hoped.

Came for brunch with such high hopes because of the reviews, but left disappointed! Came in and there were only 2 tables with customers with another being seated. The ambiance was absolutely beautiful!! Our Waiter “Alex” came to our table immediately, was friendly and took our drink orders. The sweet tea tasted like
It had lemon in it and when we ordered a chocolate milk to replace it there was hardly any chocolate in it? Basically just tinted milk. Food: “Country Benedict” (biscuits topped with Fried Chicken, scrambled eggs and sausage gravy w/grits) and “Callie’s Breakfast Platter” (French toast, scrambled eggs w/cheese, potatoes, and bacon). 30-45 mins later our food arrived? The presentation was nice, but it looked as if it was under a heat lamp for quite awhile (eggs and grits had a crust on them). Not sure how most people eat their grits, but last I checked it should be a smooth consistency not lumpy or solidified like curing cement. One of the orders was supposed to cheddar cheese but it was obvious the cheese was just thrown on top as the plate was leaving the kitchen (wasn’t even melted or even on the eggs). Everything was also just Luke warm? Alex said the wait was due to a French toast mishap in the kitchen. I get it if you were busy or had a new chef/cook, but…for an almost $50.00 breakfast of just the basics we could have done so much better!

We ordered 2 Thanksgiving meals from this establishment. We’re an extended family who met in the area from 3 different cities. I found the restaurant on Google and it looked exactly like a place we’d all frequent, both because of the menu, and atmosphere. We were beyond thrilled with the food! We got both the turkey and the ham. Everything was beautifully seasoned and made fresh! I spoke to either the manager or owner on multiple occasions leading up to the holiday. He called to verify information more than once, which impressed me! My sister-in-law, and mother-in-law, and I loved not having to cook, especially being in a rental. Everything came in containers that leftovers could be stored in. It was all absolutely perfect! Thank you for giving us a fabulous Thanksgiving feast!

Callie Opies is our favorite restaurant. My wife and I love the barn and the atmosphere. The food is always perfectly prepared. The wait staff are always professional and attentive. This is our go to restaurant for special occasions. They are simply the best.

The atmosphere and service was very nice. I had a gift card. I got an adult and a child’s meal. I clearly stressed what I wanted on adult meal. It was wrong and ended up in the trash. Child’s meal was ok, he enjoyed it. For what was charged, very disappointed.

My wife and I were staying in the area for our anniversary. This was an excellent restaurant for the occasion. The food and atmosphere excellent ! We like to give a shout out to Miranda she was our server she wrapped up the evening with great service. Thanks Again to all for a great time, We will return Thanks to the owner for stopping by the table and sharing the history of this beautiful place.
