The b-e-s-t spot for fillet mignon 10oz $49. It beats all the steakhouses I have ever been to (I love Picanha). The chips were warm, crunchy, and fresh, and the salsas were to die for $5. (who still sells salsa for $5?) You can’t miss it! You have to try it. Service was top notch as well.

Tonight we took our taco Tuesday escapades all the way to Hinsdale, Illinois to a place called Que Miso… Lionel Richie’s song says “all night long” and we could have stayed at this place all night long.. The atmosphere for this 12 week old restaurant was everything. The food was seasoned and cooked to perfection.. The perfectly cooked carne asada tacos were amazing. Once I met Chef Rhea who happens to be from Jamaica it all made since. After talking with him for about 10 min his love for Mexican flavors became very clear. This place gets
5 out of 5 and those drinks get 5 of 5.

Wonderful and much needed new restaurant in Downtown Hinsdale. Started out with the spicy tuna on crispy rice, which had just the right amount of kick and crunch that I had to order another round. For my entrée I had three tacos, miso mushroom, chicken tinga and fish. My favorite of the three being the fish, with its delectable cream sauce. The atmosphere was very lively, especially for a week night, it felt like I was at a restaurant in the west loop. Look forward to seeing more great things from this place! Thanks to Ken Moy for the suggestion!

Celebrating Chicago Restaurant Week 2024. So we decided to visit Que Miso to get out of the city. Parking was free in the quaint shopping area that the restaurant is situated. But it was full. So after driving for a bit, we were able to get a spot about 50 feet from the restaurant entrance.

The atmosphere was nice. I loved their music playlist, 70s and 80s. Did I say I loved it ?
It was tasteful, cozy, inviting and warmly decorated. I believe we sat on the Cantina side. There is a bar seating area and another seating area as well.

Tables are situated in nice proximity from others. Noise level is per table.

The food was fabulous. Spiced at a great level. I like a lot of flavor. We had the 3 course special, tortilla soup, 3 tacos and for dessert, a bunuelos.

The pricing was excellent as well in observance of Restaurant Week. But looking at their menu, their prices in general were great anyway.

The hostess was very pleasant and did an excellent job of taking care of the patrons.

Sommelier, Mr. Andrew Spence, stopped at each table and engaged with everyone, even assisting with serving some of the meals. Excellent!!!! I appreciated seeing that.

Renowned chef, Mr. Rhea Brown, even came and spoke to us. I have frequented several of his restaurants around Chicago in the past including the Signature Room. And I have always been impressed and fed deliciously.

I live in Chicago but ventured out this way to try something different and I’m glad I did! You will be too!!

The quality does not match the price. For a Mexican & Japanese fusion restaurant, you would expect entrees bursting with flavor but you will not find that here.

House margaritas- there was an off-putting flavor in this that is unlike your typical lime margarita.

Guacamole- serves 2-3 people & has some kick which I enjoyed. Plenty of chips were provided but heavy on the salt. Not sure this is worth $14 though.

Elote- the table’s favorite but again, not worth $8 for seasoned corn & cheese

Salmon tiradito- aside from the guac & elote, this was probably the most flavorful dish. The salmon was fresh & delicious. There was a good balance of spice & citrus. However, the portion for $20 was really lacking due to the incredibly thin slices. You can find full salmon entrees elsewhere for that price.

Baha fish tacos & carne asada tacos- the tortillas were basically cold and these severely lacked flavor. The carne asada was chewing and both could have used more meat and sauce. For $22 & $20, you should get more than 3 mediocre street tacos.

The menu is small and pricey so you would think that quality and care is put into each item. Despite the disappointing food, the ambience of the place is nice and the service was good. I’d like to hope the food will improve over time.

We always have a good experience here. Fish tacos are fabulous, and my husband loves the pork tacos. Guacamole and salsa are really tasty as a starter, with freshly made tortilla chips. Try the watermelon elderflower margarita, outstanding! And to top it all off, our server (Matt) was attentive, knowledgeable, and pleasant.
