This was the most pleasant surprise to us in Malta. Our visit went perfectly from beginning to end. We made a booking on their website only 15 minutes before arriving and it was the right thing to do as when we got there The place was completely full and booming. The staff greeted us as soon as we came in, showed us to our table, and presented us with the menus.
The staff were patient, attentive, kind, and generally friendly. All our questions were answered, all differences between dishes and the wines were also explained well and recommendation were made.
As a starter we took the octopus and prawn skewers which was great and priced very fairly. The praws were nice and juicy and the octopus was a decent size and quite aromatic.
For mains, as per the recommendation we picked the Salmon Carbonara and the Grilled Seabream. Both were fantastic with the carbonara being very balanced, light, and fragrant and the Seabream was perfectly seasoned, juicy, tender, and it tasted like it was prepared by someone who really knows how to do it properly and does it with care.
This was concluded by one of the only two desserts they do which was the Panna Cotta. It was such a pleasant surprise. It was creamy, light, full of flavour, and had a humble presentation. They make this one dessert better than most other restaurants’ whole dessert menus. It was like the perfect last signature of the restaurant on the final bill.
TL;DR: Make sure you book ahead of time at this establishment that serves perfectly made dishes with fantastic, quick, and some of the friendliest and most attentive service despite being packed with customers.

My parents went here twice during a 5 day tour in Malta a few months ago. We tried it and it was wonderful. Warm, great food, excellent service and a lovely environment. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the waterfront. Extensive menu with great soup, pasta, and seafood. Would definitely go back!

A small but amazing eatery in a back street of Malta. We dodged the roadworks and looked through the window and decided to give it a go – we’re pleased we did as we enjoyed it so much we’re planning a return trip to sample more dishes.

When we arrived, the restaurant was completely full. As we were a group of four, the waitress kindly suggested that we sit outside at the back of the restaurant, which we didn’t mind at all.
The menu is very diverse, so it took us a while to decide. We eventually ordered the large seafood bucket along with two other dishes. Everything was enjoyable, and honestly, there was nothing to complain about.
Despite how busy it was and with only three staff members on duty, all the waiters and waitresses did their absolute best to serve the food as quickly as possible while remaining friendly and attentive throughout. That effort is something I truly appreciated.
