I absolutely loved my Steak! It was very juicy, had lots of flavor to it, and overall for like $19.99 to get a Steak with Mushrooms, 2 sides and a dessert is absolutely crazy!!! Also our server Rubi was great!

I went to this restaurant when I was a kid, and I forgot it when my parents told me we went to Callahan’s when I was a kid. When I went in it looked like steak-n-shake. The waitress was PHENOMENAL she was funny, and she interacted with everyone there. Even though Callahan’s is closing i LOVE its food. It left me and my family full. I think we gave a $20 tip..maybe im not for sure. But when I got the menu I didn’t know what to pick, there was so many options..but I chose the BLT wrap, it was amazing. There was tho some waitress that made the food fire up!! It was really cool! I havent seen that in real life until now!! I loved it. Thank you for making my family and I feel welcomed.

I enjoyed the restaurant; however, I felt uncomfortable there. I am not sure why. It’s not that we didn’t feel safe, but more like we walked in 10 minutes before closing and placed a big order.
Our waitress was funny, kept the drinks coming, and was friendly. As was everyone we interacted with.

I took my husband here for Father’s Day dinner. We showed up at 7pm, and they were closing at 8pm but seated us and said we had plenty of time. We ordered their daily special, which was a full rack of ribs, a side , soup or salad for 23$, approximately. The drinks and salad came out right away. We then waited 40 mins for the dinner to be brought to the table. We decided to just eat the fries and take the ribs home because it was close to closing. As we are packing up the food, we each decided to have a rib to try it, and guess what, THEY WERE COLD.
I mentioned it to the waitress as she handed us our check. She felt terrible, but it was not her fault. She was wonderful, she even gave us our drinks free because of it.
We will go back and give this place one more chance because I feel there is a good chance it was just a simple mistake. Will update after second visit, not sure when that will be, though.

Everything is homemade from scratch, and DELICIOUS! my husband is in love with the biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs on top. My personal pick is the BLT club, it comes with a soup (no substitutions and trust me you wouldn’t want to miss out on the soup) and another side of a selection. I get a salad. But I also love the all meat omelette with pancakes… I promise this food all but makes you want to cry when you eat it.

On vacation, home visiting my parents. The family wanted to have some breakfast for dinner, so what better place than an old school dinner. Very casual experience and comfortable. The place has been around for many years.
Food was good and quite tasty. I got the country skillet with hash browns, sausage, and country gravy along with sunny side up eggs. To my surprise it came with four eggs, this was great since I enjoy eggs and I was only expecting two. It was harty and very filling. I would eat it again.
The service was great! Our server did a great job and was helpful and patient with us.

I’ve never written a review before, but this one was much needed. My Mom took my brother and I out to dinner here and our waitress, Kristi, was easily the BEST waitress I have ever had in all 16 and a half years of my life. The food was good too, but that’s not important. This is about Kristi. I don’t even know how to begin to describe just how amazing she was. I will 100% be coming back for as long as she works there.

An overall nice experience. A very homey place. Chicken noodle soup was a bit salty, but eatable. The dinner rolls were super soft and warm, but the burger was slightly overcooked. The rice pudding had cinnamon–nice touch, tasted okay. Recommended for a town diner.

Absolutely the best food ever. Never disappoints.. My husband and I both ordered the 1/2 Slab of BBQ Pork Ribs.. with a loaded baked Potato, Creamy Chicken and Rice Soup, and had Chocolate Ice cream for dessert . A friend of ours had Eggs and Sausage and pancakes . The waiter Trent was awesome. He made sure we had everything we needed and was just an all around nice guy. We are repeat customers. We will be back. A+++
